Not read through all the thread (what's this rose stuff al about?) but, in regards to tickets, you can't really drop prises after STH's have paid up front.

HOWEVER>>>

The East Stand is rarely full. It's a long way from the pitch too. Would anybody really object to £15.00 for the east? That might be a price to tempt those who want to see a 'proper match' and also help those unable to afford to go to every game.

Even if I had a free ticket, it wouldn't get me over from Wales for the day. If I was living closer, then lower prices would make a difference to me and I'd probably take my sister along for an afternoon out. Sometimes I have to take my little brother out for the afternoon, if ticket prices were cheaper, then football would be more attractive than perhaps the cinema.

I do think that offers for bringing kids along is a good idea. Since it's so important to build loyalty before a child reaches 10, maybe offer incentives to kids in colours. Like a free horn if they come in an albion shirt. Might help to improve atmosphere too. A lot of people say that their kids just don't get excited about going to games. An effort has to be made for the younger audience. I think the catering could provide some options that are more appealing to children. Gully definitely has more potential. I didn't appreciate how much kids love Gully till I heard some little boy raving about him at an away game.

Can STH buy a reduced rate second ticket ?

Maybe that would the answer.

I have to say if tickets we suddenly £10 a game I would not be very happy. However if it happens and there is an offer to reduce next seasons Season tickets then I would accept.
Why would you not be happy?

How many times have you bought something like a telly only to find that it sells at 10-20% three months later. Thats just market forces at play. As an Albion fan I want to see a full Withdean and despite the fact that me and my son have bought our season tickets at a higher price I wouldn't be bothered at all if they dropped the price for single matches if they fought that would benefit the club financially.

On a separate note I think Friday night football would proably make more of a difference to the crowd than £5 off the price. The reason people don't go is the lack of atmosphere, night games are definitely better.

Because it's beachy!! Life wouldnt be the same if he didnt complain about ticketing in some way or another.

Yep, don't dare complain about anything on Nsc because it will be remembered and thrown back at you ad infinitum for as long as you post.

is it me or has anyone else noticed that Yorkie is continually having a dig at BAG?

I think on this one you should take the log out of your own eye first.
You seem to pop up frequently to have a shot at Yorkie

I havent changed it at all. me thinks you should be looking at yourself!

That might be my fault Laura as I saw that first and read it the way that Yorkie did.
If this has lead to any ill feeling then the fault is mine and I apologise :blush:

I had every right to say what I said (and a lot of others) about the West Ham fiasco because the club blatantly lied by saying those submitted on that night would get a ticket and in the end did not.

Besides what was said was enough to change the clubs policy so clearly they got it wrong for that game.

A few good suggestions here. The ones I liked were the ‘tier’ system based on the opposition and reducing prices for the East stand. I also liked the no-travel ticket, but the rules may not allow (I’d be interested to know how much we actually pay the bus/train companies, as my voucher is rarely collected). Hopefully someone from the club is monitoring this and we’ll have a few ‘specials’ in the upcoming weeks.

I’d also have no objection to the lowering of ticket prices below what I paid as a 3yr STH. We should be willing to support anything that gives us a better chance of success and, if that involves making one or two concessions, it’s a price worth paying. The alternative is something that none of us would want.
