What percentage of a 5800 gate are tickets that are not season tickets or visiting fans 2,000/1500?

You made a very good point on the radio brian and I understood it first time!!!

not if they have one of those effing horns:rant::rant::rant:

i like something nice and quiet !!!!

Didn't going to football used to be about going because of a good atmosphere as well as the football, maybe the like of atmosphere at Whithers is as much to blame for low attendances, I think anything that adds to the noise and atmosphere should be welcomed. Maybe the answer should be that you get a ticket for a particular block, so you can move away from some one you find annoying like blowing one of those horns, or maybe as we have a singing block, maybe we need a block for those who what to watch without someone near-by making any noise.

Didn't the club strike a deal with bus and train companies, so probably not much of a saving on each ticket to take off by getting rid of this.

There's been various figures thrown about of how much the travel voucher works out in real terms but it should be optional for those who dont need it, And are the club still charging that £2 booking fee for the tickets? another bloody rip off.

So that is approx 1300 = £13000 lost revenue if we dropped the prices by £10 . Would then need to have sold 866 extra tickets @£15 to cover lost revenue it is possible but you then have to take into account upsetting STH by the reduction, low gates due to time of year ie cost buying fireworks or taking a family to a display , getting towards Christmas and shopping, game on Tuesday night, also rather suprising Luton did not sell out their end.

Another way to fill up the empty stand behind the goal next to the family stand could be to have a raffle of local schools and charities for free tickets for those fixtures that arn't such a draw, or alternatively, make these the cheap seats section at say £15 - £20, as they are normally empty except against top opposition rather than dropping all the ticket prices, i'm sure it won't upset season ticket holders too much to do that

I don't think we'd have sold out if admission was free.

I am not passing judgement on anyone. It is obviously up to the individual how they get there, which goes without saying. I was merely stating to Beachy why it would not be possible to sell without travel vouchers.

You are a bad fan for wearing Leeds colours at the Brighton Leeds game.:jester:

Indeed Dave, how could anything with a red rose on it be mistaken for anything from Yorkshire.

Why does the England Rugby shirt have a Red Rose on it when the true rose of England is or should be White as Yorkshire won the battle of the Roses.

Or the Tudor rose because Henry of Lancaster won the battle, married Elizabeth of York and combined the two.
