Only the sort of tossers who cant see that after spending £ 200 million plus ,there was only going to be one conclusion of the "independent " inquiry, that description fit you by any chance ?

Interesting that you are quite happy to throw you weight behind the execution of those found guilty by some trials, but apparently refuse to accept the findings of others...

yep, invading oil rich countries, killing civilians, knowing how to use a gun, all great pre-requisites to free tickets at the amex.

sigh

You're obsesed with me aren't you ? get a hobby or something it'll take your mind off of me.

alternatively, you could stop being obsessed with cluttering up our message board with your personal opinions. Let us talk about football, have a bit of a laugh? I know you don't do those two things.

I'd be interested to know whose execution i've "thrown my weight behind "?

To be honest, lazy commenting. There was a death penalty thread the other day and I just assumed you were on it like rash.

Well you should have read it then, i said i'm in favour in principle but there are too many miscarriages of justice/fit ups by the police a la colin stagg for it to work in practice.

If you only want to talk about football, why are you commenting on this thread einstein ?

I'll dip into any debate.

but, I'll mainly talk football.

You almost never talk football.

And you'll patronise, abuse, sometimes threaten other posters.

Whatever floats your boat I suppose. Enjoy.

In which case, I apologise for my comment. Although I fail to see your logical jump between the cost of the bloody Sunday enquiry and it therefore being flawed.

Perhaps mentioning cost was lazy posting by me, my feelings are that there was only ever going to be one outcome to the inquiry, and it wasnt going to be one that upset the nationalist camp.

I also suspected there was only ever going to be one outcome - although perhaps for different reasons.

I've come back home.
There are also a vast number of service personnel who still do not see active service and I am sure there are many ex service people on here who never saw active service.

What do you base that sweeping statement on? I base the following statement on 10years and still currently serving in the army. I can think of only 4 people out of probably thousands of soldiers, sailors and airman I have met who havnt been on operations of some sort.

For the record: all service is active...you are either on or not on operations (a tour of duty in an operational theatre or area).

For the record and for those that care, I don't and many many many other serving soldiers don't care what you think of us, your opinions are on what we do, how we do it, why we do it or what our rewards for doing it are. We couldn't give two hoots. I have been called a baby murder and a hero in the same hour and I am neither, I am just a bloke that wants to take his dad to the cricket with the help of tickets for troops.

craphat ! when are we going for that beer with xenophon ?

Are you for real, people like you make me feel sick to the stomach. Mods, can we please rename this board the Socialist North Stand Chat Board. Slowly but surely these people are infiltrating our board, that we have enjoyed for many, many years !! :tantrum:
Sorry ... I'm finding it difficult to detect any socialism in this thread ... on either side of the argument.

Well, they're all work for the public service and do dangerous jobs. I don't have a problem with the army and think they should be helped out with care after troops come out injured. I just don't think giving troops free football tickets ahead of Albion fans is exactly fair on other public servicemen or Albion fans. If they want a ticket they should have to buy one like everyone else.

Your 18 mate, older than some of our boys and girls over there. Friday & Saturday night no doubt you were on the piss whilst our troops were dodging bullets, land mines etc. I'll book you in as juvenile in your thinking behind your comments unless you are yet "ANOTHER" left wing softy who has turned up on this board......

Good to see that is happening. Can you explain why you feel troops should get tickets over Albion fans though? I wouldn't have a problem with it if our stadium was half empty the whole time but it won't be.

What about this, their in the Armed Forces and they are Brighton Fans. Surely the case is dismissed, give them some tickets and a welcome like this.....

They put their necks on the line and 10 minutes on the hallowed turf was all it needed. You can see it in the boys faces what it meant
