Get Webster, Solly and Lamptey back fully fit.

Sign Welbeck, if he’s reasonable with his money demands.

Hopefully keep Bissouma.

Sign another striker (with pace), a LB and midfield cover.

Goalkeepers - better cover for Sanchez?

Farewell I think to Propper and Jahanbakhsh.

We need to trim costs. Development squad. Get rid of them. Either good enough or go. And women. Get rid of them. Darlin. And ball boys/girls. Get rid of them. Incentive for players to shoot on target if had to retrieve ball themselves. And mascots. Waste space they are. Never seen one score. And recruitment. What do they do? Make coffee and runs to Gatwick that’s what. So get rid of them. And stewards. Easy life or what at the moment. Get rid of them therefore. And supporters. Proved we don’t need them, use CGI and get rid of them too.

Everyone else can stay though.

Our model long term will be similar to Southampton a few years back - every 18 months or so sell a player we have developed for a ridiculous fee

Effectively what Leicester have done for last few years re likes of Mahrez, Chilwell etc

Absolutely. If you sell one every year, it doesn't necessarily diminish your squad significantly, especially not if your forward planning is astute. When we signed Caicedo, the world and his wife said he was a replacement for Bissouma.

The most saleable assets right now, in terms of big money at least, are Bissouma, White, Lamptey, Webster and probably Sanchez if he carries on as he is.

Webster's had a great season but I think he'll need another one before the vultures at the top clubs start to circle. Especially now he's missed a few games with injury.

White has had a decent season but for me, not quite outstanding enough to attract the elite. Though in his case (and unlike Webster) he already had the top billing in the media thanks to Bielsa singlehandedly taking him from playing barefoot with a rag ball on the streets to being the best defender at the biggest club in the world. Sometimes reputation alone is enough to increase a player's value. Another season at the Albion, IMHO, unless one of the giants offer us £40m plus. Possible, but unlikely.

Lamptey- another with potentially massive value but I can't see him going this summer due to his injury.

Sanchez- I could easily see his value soaring in years to come: not this summer however unless he gets a chance for Spain and sets the world alight. In that case, it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility for a Spanish club to come in. There's probably only three who'd have the kind of money we'd ask for though, and one of them already has Jan Oblak in goal.

Which leaves Bissouma. Love the bloke, and was really glad to see him back on form yesterday. Of all the saleable assets, he's the most established, experienced at this level, but still young enough to make him a very attractive prospect. Talk of Arsenal and Liverpool having an eye on him, and neither seems unrealistic. This one's going to come down to whether either can offer us an acceptable price (haven't they both taken loans out to cover COVID losses?) and whether Bissouma himself shows signs of wanting to go. But if it's any of the current squad who goes this summer, it will surely be him. I would wish him well if he did.

As for the others- it's got to be the end of the line for Duffy. Hopefully he can get a decent move: Moyes at West Ham should suit him down to the ground. You'd have to think Walton will be on his way this year. Molumby perhaps too (shame, but we have a lot of decent midfielders). I can't see any way forward at the Albion for Jahanbaksh now, though his salary will be an issue for many European clubs. I'm not convinced Izquierdo fits into Potter's way of thinking. Can't see Alzate leaving as some have suggested however. I think Potter likes him.

The good thing is most of the big clubs have very little free money expect the petro-dollar clubs. I read that both Real and Barca are financially in a bad way, have had to have loans to survive and part of the deal is they have to pay out the transfer equivalent to the government (100% tax) and Barca are about to sign wijnaldum so they’re sorted. I think both Milan clubs have financial issues, Juventus might have money. Bayern have already made their signings for next year.

On Bissouma - Man Utd have for Fred and McTominay as holing so no issues there, Chelsea - Kante looks a man renewed, Arsenal (big financial trouble ) and Laperty was signed for this role, Liverpool no money and will spend on a new forward and 4th centre back (may see pressure on White), Spurs won’t be in champions league so no money unless Kane sold. So this leaves one big issue is Man City as Ferdandio will be about 45 at end of season and they have money so that is where he may go.

Next season - we’ll get Clarke and Ostigard back which could see end of Burn, need a 2nd lwb, need a third quality striker. Izzy, Propper and all loans to go out permenantly. Alzatte may have fallen behind others especially if Ecudariosn lad is as good as Vickery says, and Molder looks much better

Agree with all of the above

According to media reports Bissouma is now being linked with Leicester, in addition to alleged interest shown by Arsenal and Liverpool.
Certainly the more clubs involved in a bidding war, the higher the price he eventually goes for.

I think Leicester is much more plausible than Arsenal or Liverpool.

Leicester will know they will be banking Champ League money and have made money on player sales in recent years. They will need to bulk up the squad for this run

They are by far the most likely PL destination

Liverpool and Arsenal will both be in deep s*** financially when they fail to qualify for Europe. If they do spend, and I doubt they will, it won't be on a PL midfielder for £50m

If he goes to Leicester they must be expecting to lose Ndidi (or possibly Tielemans) because he isn't going to start ahead of either of them.

Arsenal must be used to it by now, fruitless CL campaigns a thing of the old days.

After 2 good wins cant kid ourselves all ok. Not long ago this site full of people saying all our forwards and manager were hopeless. To avoid yet another relegation battle we have to strengthen. Cant go into another season when we have to play Burn or Alzate out wide or Connelly upfront. Like any club below very wealthy we need to sell at profit to help finance buys. Burnley Southampton have survived like this, Even Leicester do

If Biss does go this summer be kind of ironic that the last away game we had before no crowds was Wolves away and this to me was first game when Biss totally dominated the midfield - you would assume Liverpool to replace Dutch midfielder off to Barcelona

cant see that myself. Where does he play for Leicester? Cant see him replacing Ndidi or Tielemans. And they wont push Tielemans further forward to the 10 because they have Maddison

Assuming the use of 'Dutch midfielder' was due to not being able to spell Wijnaldum :D
