I don't see TB selling Biss, White or Sanchez this summer. White and Sanchez haven't had enough PL experience imo to command big figures.

Biss has been outstanding but got more to give and unless big money comes in, why would TB sell. Jan or next season with Moises settled, yea can see it. Biss is only 24, still coming into his prime and thus value.

The obvious answer to the "why would we sell?" question is "because we need the money". We've made huge losses this year and need to invest in the squad. I expect at least one big departure and suspect it will be Biss. However, I'm not convinced we'll achieve the numbers some expect when we do sell some of our prized assets.

I believe Biss already has a deal done to go somewhere. Guessing Arsenal.

Purely speculation on my part.

I agree. Likewise I have zero knowledge but it does seem to be a bit of an open secret reading between the lines on some of Naylor's posts and some of the recent comments from Potter and Barber. We shall see.

So did everyone else though.

If we do sell in the summer it will be at the low point in the market.

I'd be surprised if we did

I keep saying this i believe Webster will go in the Summer. The hawks are circulating and he has served his Premier league apprenticeship with us and is now a fully fledged player in this division. A team like Spurs will put in an offer and he will want to better himself. Just a feeling ive had for a while.......since he eradicated his mistakes and has become an integral part of our defence. Hope i am wrong but i think this one Tony will not be able to convince to stay.

This with knobs on! Some very unrealistic figures being floated around!

Our model long term will be similar to Southampton a few years back - every 18 months or so sell a player we have developed for a ridiculous fee

Effectively what Leicester have done for last few years re likes of Mahrez, Chilwell etc

Alex Fernandes of Cadiz might be worth a punt, regular goal scorer for a so so team in a top league

Like I said in another thread... Bissouma got two years left on his contract. This means that unless he renews his contract, he is either sold for whatever his full value is this summer or his value plummets quickly because of the increasing fear that the player might just leave on a free transfer (which they often gladly do as it usually means that they have more options to choose from and usually also a bigger contract as the club does not have to pay any transfer fee).

This is the main reason I'm almost 100% sure he is off this summer.

It's possible of course, but White, Lamptey and Dunk have all been in similar positions and gone on to sign a new deal.

We'll have certainly offered him one (or are in the process of).

It's by no means a cert

Is that allowed?
I'm in Australia, we are pretty much COVID free at the moment.

Although with the mayhem happening in papua new guinea this may not last.

A third way is that Bissouma signs a new contract and gets a large pay rise, with a clause allowing an exit if for example a CL club comes in for him.

Which also maintains a high transfer value if sold in summer 2022.

Potter is the man we need to keep as there will be interest in him.
We -- for some values of 'we' -- were ready to bin him a fortnight ago.

According to media reports Bissouma is now being linked with Leicester, in addition to alleged interest shown by Arsenal and Liverpool.
Certainly the more clubs involved in a bidding war, the higher the price he eventually goes for.
