There is not many I can say 100% YES or NO to but I know for sure that John Marquis is not a potential signing. I think a Millwall player may briefly have been considered but I don't think that went any further than a quick glance as a possibility before being dismissed as not really good enough but I can categorically say 100% that it was not John Marquis.

Actually John Marquis is a very good player but he is not really an instinctive goalscorer.
