I can see your average judge going for that look big-time. 'Yes, young lady, he's guilty as sin, have some money for clothes err I mean compensation. My, you look fragrant in that dress, would 4 o'clock on Friday in some hot pants in my chambers be okay?'

Perhaps she feels more comfortable in that attire on a hot day?

Besides, are you suggesting a lady should cover themselves to avoid unwanted attention?

Think about it for a moment. The young lady in question, if she had any sense, should be trying to create the impression that she is a young lady of high morals and not some cheap hooker. The impression one creates in court will play a great part in any decision a jury will come to.

I'm banking on those involved being able to take the evidence as it comes and not on what everyone is wearing.

They're only human. It's going to go through their heads at some point, I'm be surprised if none of them was influenced in some way by the attire.

I'm pretty sure it was CSI where one of the District Attorneys referred to a jury as "12 people too stupid to get out of jury duty" which, whilst coming from a work of fiction, isn't necessarily that far from the truth.

Sorry, but I completely disagree. Do women other than those of high morals - or even that are cheap hookers - not have the right to not be sexually assaulted?

A jury will be more likely to believe her side of the story if she dresses more becomingly in a court of law.

You are speaking for 12 people you do not know or have not met.

I am sure she has been well versed by her legal team. I'd imagine giving evidence in court is a ghastly experience and important to feel comfortable in oneself.

Having said that, you have decided she is a slapper, so perhaps she should have toned it down.

Besides which, I am surprised she was plastered on SSN. She hasn't been named for legal reasons. Are you sure you are not getting her confused with someone else?

Is this the girl you are referring to?

Judging by the fact that she walked to court with TB I suspect she may be his "brief" rather than the girl whose bum he grabbed!

she gave evidence from behind a screen, so she did not influence anything and suggesting Sky haven't plastered her image over the news.

BBC News - Sunderland

"Giving evidence from behind a screen, the woman said that she agreed to share a taxi with him after leaving the Cross Keys nightclub."

Well, if it was her brief dressed in that manner, she's a cheap tart as well. The young of today have no morals. No wonder the country is in such a state. It will all end in tears. oh, for the good old days!!!! If that is her brief pictured by Barrel of fun and I was the judge, I would have sent her home to change in to something more suitable for a court of law.
