The very first new record you bought

This heavy heavy monster, was the first new 45 I bought (after gathering a small pile of 2nd-hand oldies from 'The Cottage' used record shop). It basically got me ostracized by the 'cool' tossers, who only accepted people if they liked Zep, ELP and King Crimson. No matter, I bet they all ranted on about Bob Marley once he was deemed 'hip' by the music buffs, NME and hippies.

Bloody long time ago but I am sure it was Day Tripper by the Beatles (in case some of you didn't know).

"Who's Next" -- $4.18, which today would be $21, indexed for inflation.

I believe this news will make The Large One very happy...
