He’s expert at ultra confidently selecting Faithful’s who don’t tick the Traitor boxes, then getting a mini following to see it through. Was Kasim one victim of this? Joe then challenged by an upset Dan.

Yet the sheep keep following someone making rubbish decisions.
The Round table is such a critical factor.
It seems that often the group are working forward with a decent approach and then it goes out of the window at the round table.

"I want to say about you, Linda, you've been walking around all day with an "I love being a traitor" t-shirt on and chanting "I'm a massive traitor, ha ha ha", so I'm a bit suspicious."

"I also wanted to say about you, Kas, that you were a bit grumpy first thing this morning and you're a doctor."

The herd: "Wow, I'm definitely voting for Kas on that basis."

I'm enjoying the follow-up Uncloaked episodes this year. Definitely a good shout bringing in the contestants from previous years for their views. Been a few solid nuggets about the mindsets people get into - including acknowledgement of how the "herd mentality" thing sets in and looks stupid from the outside, but for those on the inside it's a lot harder to get that distance to avoid it.

I think what we're seeing is that if you're a Traitor, you get into a long-term planning mindset. You're far more able (as you don't have to worry about being murdered) to step back mentally and look at the bigger picture and plan out a few days in advance.

Whereas the Faithful's tend to get blinded by not trusting each other, having a "right now" self-protection focus, and generally not (until much later) taking the time to step back and analyse the big picture. They definitely don't do it collectively.

That's where I think Alexander needs to be a target for removing from the game ASAP for the Traitors (either by murder or engineering a banishment). He doesn't have them picked out yet, but if he stays in long term he will pick them out because he will see the bigger picture. It's easier to remove him now via herd-mentality banishment than it will be later, because the smaller the group gets the more likely it is that you'll have people looking big picture.

I'd definitely keep Joe in as long as possible though ... hasn't got a clue, latches on to bogus evidence and despite his numerous failures seems nevertheless capable of leading the herd in the wrong direction.

As someone who goes VERY red VERY quickly in anxious moments, I properly felt for Alex when he slipped up with his wording in the kitchen and they POUNCED.

That's exactly why I couldn't go on Traitors.
I'm exactly the same - I actually went red watching Alex go red 😄. I'd be utterly hopeless on the show - I'd look immediately guilty - faithful or traitor as soon as someone questioned me!

I think Leanne has a slight bullying streak, and I think it'll be really interesting to see how she responds when someone actually properly goes for her at the Round Table given her massive overreaction to even small, polite, gentle suggestions.

Agree..think she’s got an ego as well..she seems to be playing it from a completely personal point of view rather than looking at who would likely be a Traitor. One thing I’d like to see rather than the same old platitudes dished out by those voted out would be for someone to say you’ve all been a bunch of d1cks and I never want to see you again! Perhaps their contracts stipulate otherwise.

When she opened the round table with "I'm going to address the elephant in the room............Leon, why are you acting differently around ME"

Yeah, Leanne, I don't think that is anyone else's elephant. That is a lonely elephant.

I listened to a podcast this morning that correctly called her as having Main Character Syndrome - same when she said it must've been a failed murder attempt on her when she had the Shield, rather than an attempted recruitment, which they now can be pretty sure Anna was telling the truth about.

Not everything's about you mate.

Indeed. When Alexander said "did you not consider the Traitors had tried to recruit and not just been trying to kill you?" She said he was patronising :lolol:

Quite. Just look at her reaction when Alexander (politely I thought) put her forward as a possible traitor. She’s definitely the star in her own film.

Out of interest, which podcast was that?

What - you're name is Deadly? That's a complete red flag. Why are you going red?

OMG, this year as a twist they've put a traitor in from the start before we've even got off the train!

Faithful To The Traitors - they're really on it with getting a reaction episode out by the morning after.

There's 2 others that I sometimes listen to - The Traidar, and It's Just A Game, which is hosted by Wilf, Ivan & Rayan who were all in Season 1 of the Traitors (UK), so interesting to get their insights on the behind the scenes process.

On Uncloaked last night, Alex revealed that a lot of them stay friends when the series ends. He got married recently and both Lisa and Linda attended the wedding.
Alex had to lie to other guests about how he knew them as obviously they have to keep the secret until the series was broadcast.

Lisa certainly seemed fond of him..one theory I read suggested they could be mother n son!
