Yeah, Aus2 was brilliant. Another rule change "The Traitors Dilemma" because the way the end game played out. Then them all screwing the other and "the sheriff" having his hissy fit because nobody let him win. Probably my favourite series.
Probably one of the most satisfying television moments of last year , that final - and the toddler tantrum afterwards.

Anyone watching USA latest season? Absolute carnage with all of the traitors not trusting each other and refusing to work together!
Its fascinating. I dont like anybody in it - not one. They are all media trained, minor celebs, who know each other from previous "reality shows". A totally different bunch of people from the complete unknowns and strangers on the UK versions. I hope the UK doesnt go down this route.
The US version is fascinating though. A bunch of grotesques, swanning around in carefully crafted outfits, the three remaining traitors totally at war with each other, obnoxious bloke (but faithful) exited in the last episode with his middle finger extended to the group as he went - none of your "I love each and every one of you and Ive had a blast " from him. :) Its all a bit camper, and a bit too "American" , but Im hooked now . What will the machiavellian Rob's next move be? Will the others get him out? Will he murder that Derrick bloke who is on his tail? Will the other two traitors claw each others eyes out? Can Caroline find a new grotesque gurning expression for the next episode. ?

Watched it all unfold last week - it was the best series I've seen, due to the characters involved - well, one.

Although was chuffed at the ending - the only winners were the program makers. All that for nothing!

Started watching season 2 of the Aussie series last night. Interesting mix of unknowns and minor celebs. No one I particularly like yet. Few that I will be really disappointed to see make it to the end as they've already annoyed me. And the episode 1 banishment is hilarious for how clueless the banished person was with their vote.

I fear that the next UK version WILL be full of celebs (as the US version has always been).

It doesn't bode well. I have no idea what would have motivated the producers to go down this route. Surely the UK series to date have been successful enough? Slippery slope.

Rumoured: Alan Carr, Andy Murray, Ol' Mother Vardy, Clare Balding, Peston FFS

I've watched the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and US versions. Absolutely the worst are when the contestants are "reality stars". Keep it real, not "reality".

I'm surprised she hasn't been banished yet purely on the fact I would be really unnerved by her presence.

There IS going to be a celeb one next, but as a one-off/separate from the usual series.

I'd love to see Mr Blobby struggling with his cloak in Traitor's Turret, alongside David Beckham and Kerry Katona.

We still don't have the latest UK version, so I can't really read through this thread too much. But I'm glad you are seeing the latest US version. What an absolute clusterfuck. Over 2 seasons of the US version, 2 seasons of the UK version and one season of the Aussie version, I've never seen a worse group of traitors. Oh boy. Totally at each others throats from about, what, episode 4, maybe?

I think maybe the only one who has a chance of making it to the end at this point is Carolyn. Only because everybody thinks she's completely high at not capable of being a traitor.

The sheer stupidity of this lot is astonishing.

I've never seen so many complete morons together in one place, outside NSC of course.
Sam has to be one of the most naturally obnoxious, arrogant people ever to appear on television. I can't believe he has any friends. Very enjoyable final episode but difficult to believe he wasn't voted out in earlier episodes. The sheer stupidity and faithful ignorance of his little apprentice electrician buddy was breathtaking.

Have to be honest, as long as they keep the normal Traitors going them a celebrity version should be fun as long as it doesn't go down the US path of obnoxious reality stars which makes their version unwatchable for me. I think those you list would actually be quite good, plus Stephen Fry is rumoured too.

Stephen Fry (and Richard Osman) will go some way to mitigating the others.

The reality stars on the US version are playing to win the pot for themselves. I would hope those in our celebrity version will be playing for charity.

The next episode of US3 is on this evening. The Beeb has made a bit of a shambles with this series; the first 4/5 episodes all released together then a haphazard schedule since.

There's a Canadian version? I haven't come across that. Better go and find it!

Oh. It isn't available in the UK :tantrum:

Just finished the NZ version. Really enjoyed it. Although the players are mostly celebs, they are generally a likeable and vaguely intelligent bunch (and not reality stars). Recommended.
