Actually leaving the banter aside. the death penalty was abolished for all peacetime offences in May 1998 when the European Convention on Human rights was ratified by parliament.

She didn't bow down to them and that started years before she came to power. That was a totally different kettle of fish. I didn't see many walk out of the Iranian Embassy,,,only one got out alive. S.A.S were ordered to shot to kill em and that order came straight from the top and after it was over she went back to their party and had a beer with them..What a women, what a leader!!
