You have to be wired up a certain way to apprecate why the office is so good. You have to also be very observant and watch it a number of times - lots of hidden gems in there.

Oh dear pedant alert, what I should have said (just for your benefit) was that people have very differing opinions. Granted personaly I am indifferent, I like some of his stuff but not all of it.

He should stick to television. Extras and The Office are, in my eyes, two of the best British comedy programmes of all time.

In comparison, The Invention of Lying is probably one of the worst films I've ever seen.

I saw the office, it was pretty good for its time, but now it seems really dated. I did like his stuff on the radio show but I didn't like pretty much everything else he did. the podcasts seemed contrived, extras seemed like a poor excuse to wheel out cameos to celebrities, stand ups were poor from what i saw.
