Granted, but you would still say it is dominated by Bayern and Dortumnd. I think you are hard pushed to find a top division where at least 3 of the same teams are near the top of it every year.

So would I. However, I wouldn't undo my curtains if Gillingham were playing Rotherham at the end of my garden but I would pay Sky Sports however much it is they charge me to watch Chelsea V Man U. The reason is simple for me. Brighton and England 1st, Quality football 2nd. This is why I enjoy the Premiership (Arsenal were a privilege to watch at times last year) and the Champions league (again some fantastic games, Arsenal V Inter Milan, Arsenal V Chelsea, Chelsea V Lazio even Man U V Porto).

In regards to your initial post the Premiership isn't going to be overly competitive as only Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea can win it (at a push Newcastle & Liverpool) but no-one can deny the quality of football is so much better than 15 - 20 years ago when it was predominately a British league. In terms of skill and watchability (and accessibility if you have a satellite dish and a missus who has given up trying to stop you watching football all the time) its better than its ever been. I'll be watching with interest.

thats not the french league. thats the european cups your talking about. wrong argument mate.

having two good teams does not make a good league. england have about 10 good teams in my opinion ranging from arsenal to teams like villa now. so understand the argument before you make a silly point
