Unbelievable TD from Justin Fields against the niners. At last we might have a QB worthy of the name.

Urban Meyer, Trent Baalke and all of their inept coaches need to get in the bin.

I've become so disillusioned with my Seahawks this year that I've temporarily given up on watching live games at anti-social hours, instead just watching highlights.

So watched the game summary this morning.

My lord, the Jaguars are a car-crash. That looked like an easy win for us. Even with a back-up QB and team in general disarray for Seattle, Jacksonville didn't get anywhere near competing.

Can we play you every week?

Quite rightly, the Browns are being talked about as the most disappointing offense / team of the season so far. An awful performance last night...
It's incredible isn't it? For 20 years we were shit, but we knew we were shit: bad picks, bad coaches, bad trades, bad front office, bad everything. Then finally everything seemed like it was falling into place - and yet we're STILL shit! Ok, it's relative and we're nothing like as bad as we were in the Dark Days. but given the promise shown last season this is a step backward.

Only in Cleveland!

Oh, and get rid of OBJ; what a disappointment. There's a faint hope he could get traded before the deadline, but it's probably unlikely.

Yep - as I said before, I didn't buy into the Superbowl hype in the off-season at all (8 or 9 wins max) but Im struggling to see any more wins apart from the Lions game now.

We need Hunt back asap for that 1-2 punch that worked so well at the start of the season. Chubb cant do it on his own despite Johnson stepping into the breach.
We need the WR's & TE's to step up. Landry is usually dependable when healthy - but OBJ, Schwartz, Higgins, Njoku, Hooper are all non-factors every game. Its a shame DPJ got injured when he was just getting to see more of the ball and becoming a deep threat.
The play calling needs to be looked at - on both sides of the ball. I fear for our DB's next weekend going into the Jungle at Cincy.

OBJ - trade him 100%, but what value would you get? He looks genuinely scared to go up for the ball now. Appreciate he has a shoulder injury, but hes done in Cleveland IMO.

Imagine what it's been like being a Packers fan for over 30 years...

If you want an example of how not to win a game, try watching the end of the Broncos v WFT game.

Broncos only needed three knees and punt to win the game but tried to be clever, messed it up, then WFT should have got the score to tie and messed that up.

Von Miller to The Rams for a 2nd and 3rd rounder in the 2022 draft. Did not see that one coming! Also, Donald and Von Miller on the same team. I wouldn't want to be that opposing QB.

Looks like Derrick Henry's season is over, requires surgery on his foot.

Miller was always a potential trade candidate given his age and salary. Still a surprise though but it will give him another chance to get a second SB ring - Broncos will take a while to get there again. Paton likes to stack up draft picks so fits with his way of operating. Just waiting for someone to take Fuller off of our hands.

AP to the Titans....

Had some gas left in the tank last season for Detroit, so could be useful down the stretch - & take some pressure off Tannehill & AJ Brown.

Hope so anyway, picked him straight up as RB2-3 for my fantasy team...gotta do better than my backups have been lately, surely?!:lolol:

Was an interesting day on Browns social media yesterday with the fallout from OBJ's dad posting a video online about Mayfield.

Talks have started between the GM & OBJ's agents. OBJ has been completely silent about it all which is very unlike him - and he was excused from practice yesterday. Stefanski has apparently told the team OBJ wont be with them for the rest of the season.

What a mess....but as my mate said "theres no place in today's NFL for a prima dona that doesn't deliver".

Which team does he go to if we decide to cut ties....?

Personally, I wont be bothered at all if he goes. Hes never been a great fit when hes been healthy, & we have a couple of WR's who can easily perform better than he has.

Aaron Rodgers has Covid 19...Out for 10 days minimum...

He's been vocal about the right not to be vaccinated and when asked says he's been 'immunised'

Me neither, and I'm not being wise after the event but I wasn't 100% overjoyed when he joined. Yeah sure he was a 'name' at a time when we didn't have any, but was he going to be prima donna? Answer, sadly yes. It's Leon Knight (or Andone) writ large, and no team needs disgruntled troublemakers in the camp.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. I've pretty much written off the rest of this season (as usual). As you said earlier apart from the Lions game it's hard to see where another win is coming from, especially after the 'performance' against Pittsburgh last week. And as it's Cleveland I'm NOT expecting to be pleasantly surprised by a sudden upswing.
