You'll still have enough to beat Fangio in his last game as Broncos coach.

Told you so! Nothing worse than getting up early to watch the game before work (I had recorded it) and know within the the first few minutes that your team is not going to win. The score does not reflect game.

I'd like to think that the coaching team will not be in place by Monday morning as out play calling on both sides is dreadful - our D is shocking and the O seems to only really wake up for the second half.

It was a bit "squeaky bum time" when Denver scored to make it 17-14 (I got up at 3 to watch the final qtr) but once we got Johnson rolling on that final drive, the result was only ever going one way.
As a long time Browns fan its always nice to get one over on the Broncos....especially with Elway up in the suites looking on :cheery::rave:

Almost worthy of its own thread, but despite its groundbreakingness, I'm guessing it's still too niche.
So this is as good a place as any.

Morning knuckleheads.

Yesterday PTI was 20 years old.

This is glorious.

Green Bay looking a little collegey in their throwback kit.

KC also looking like a college team.

Not content with running through teams, Derrick Henry is now throwing TDs.

I know the Seahawks have injuries at key positions (who doesn't!?) - but sitting at 2-5 now, with tough divisional games still to play, and no sign of improving....could this year be Pete Carroll's last in the PNW?

I think it’s almost inevitable. And tbh, I’m not unhappy about it. It really feels like times up for Pete, a bit like Wenger at Arsenal, he’s hung around a bit longer than he should.

The team needs a fresh direction, though having traded away our First Round Pick, it’s not even like a stinker of a season is going to reap the reward of an early pick for the first time in years.

I decided to forego the First Quarter, but still got up at 5am to watch 2 and a half hours of turgid rubbish, with a solitary FG the only ‘reward’.

Well done.

I regretted watching the 10 minutes match highlights!!

Fortunately I've been feeling dog rough over the last 3 days.
(99.9% certainly t'is half-hearted flu)

Still at least it gives me a perfect excuse to crash out now and watch The Packers, on Prime, at 00:20

One thing I have learnt over the years, is that you never write the Seahawks off... when you think they are on their knees, something happens and suddenly they are in with a shot...

However, this really does look like season over right now, with key players out and no idea when Wilson will return... Carroll took us to two Superbowls and we thank him for it, but surely now it's time to get someone else in, new ideas, new co-ordinators (or at least a new DC). We still have some quality players that I am sure someone else can get much better results out of... we don't have any draft capital at all to play with, so any new coach will have to work mainly with what we have, unless we trade away one of the big guns (which would be foolish I think)
