I am going to vote then go for a ride on my Monkey Bike. after that pick up some dinner, snacks and energy drinks for me and my husband. I am still on holiday from work until Monday.

We don’t totally agree on politics and policy but we do both *ucking hate the current Tories

I reckon this line-up will get my viewing vote.
Hopefully Maitlis, Campbell and Stewart shred Dorries in a manner that she deserves.

Channel 4
After years of providing “alternative” election night coverage featuring comedians, this year, Channel 4 is going straight. It is pitching at viewers who want political analysis and embracing centrist dads by leaning into the news podcast market. Emily Maitlis from the News Agents will host alongside Channel 4 News’s own Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Cathy Newman, with analysis from Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart of The Rest Is Politics podcast. A late addition to the lineup is the ex-Tory minister Nadine Dorries, who unsuccessfully tried to privatise the channel and claimed it was biased towards the left.
wtf? Was that last line added by Easy10??

My son woke me up at 4:30 and been awake since, it’ll be a long old slog today! Will mince round the corner to Hove Library in a few minutes and cast my vote for the Green Party

Edit: Voting Greens not because I’m against Labour at all, quite the opposite, but I feel Peter Kyle has Hove sown up so my vote is my way of saying that I want the Labour government to put more emphasis into climate change than has been apparent from their campaign. For me it’s the largest issue facing the world and both parties seem to have their heads in the sand.

Gonna be an easy watch for me on the other side of the globe. No work tomorrow for me, and UK polling stations close around 7am my time I think. Will not be celebrating or drowning my sorrows, will just be g3nuinely interested to see how bad this will get for the Tories. Hoping to see some of the most two faced politicians I have ever known eating big slices of humble pie.

Almost certainly the most predictable - and therefore the least interesting - GE in my lifetime. Hoping for a good sleep; nice dreams would be a bonus!
It's a foregone conclusion but it's certainly interesting. There is the, albeit slim, potential for a new official opposition...even the potential for this to happen is unheard of in my lifetime. Interest and potental for how Reform perform. Potential for numerous key tories to lose their seats which complicates their finding a new leader. If you're into politics, this is anything but the least interesting.

Most predictable in terms of the winner - but the least predictable in terms of the overall makeup and potential seismic impact if the Tories come third.

Like the look of the Sky team … Ruth Davidson and Andy Burnham.

@Herr Tubthumper …. from Germany, do you have the full choice of UK tv news stations?
I will have access to BBC and ITV via a VPN. I need to check my 'magic tv' but I think it has Sky News.

But

“When dawn rises and it is clear who will be forming the next government, the team will hand over to Sophie Raworth and Jon Kay for the Friday morning shift.”

I'll be waiting for you Sophie.

I might have to take today off as well, finding it difficult to concentrate.

I love this particularly brand, very crispy, very salty and very vingery.
I've recently rediscovered the salt and vinegar flavour of Walkers (previously: Smiths) Square Crisps. They have a fantastic tang.

I was buying them from the Friends of Worthing Hospital cafe. I shall attempt to source some elsewhere for tonight.
