Muslims who have been under attack and been subjected to massacres in Chechnia and Dagastan? You could be right. Just cant understand these people. Why cant they just be massacred and deal with it.

Yes...Terrorism is evil but I see it as an evil that we bring on ourselves by people who have no other way of fighting us, and who are responding to things we do to them. Its not a matter of being even handed..its a matter of being realistic

yeah, sorry, i couldn't help myself. you can say what you like about nsc, but the opportunity it affords you to post something controversial and watch the binfestery commence, really is top drawer.
So, If a member of your family or indeed close friend was killed by a terrorist atrocity, you would be all "realistic" and accept it as part of todays society?
Why do the target inocents then. If the targeted the Government only or the military then I would have some kind of simpathy becuase the they would be fighting a war. But they're not, they're killing anyone and it will solve nothing. Waste of life and gets no support from anyone.
Moving the thread, Spanish makes a serious point here. The Olympics will doubtless make the capital a magnet for terrorist activity. Current thinking suggests the most likely method seems to be a Mumbai style team spraying bullets around several locations. It's a worrying thought and very, very difficult to intercept before attack and defend during.
And the worst of it all is that I have no idea what the best way to counter it is.
