I did offsite hospitality at Brentford (!) so I could get a ticket in promo year. Actually it was ok

I somehow ended up in the director's box for that match having managed to scrounge some hospitality, under strict instructions from my wife not to celebrate wildly if we scored, which I managed for the first two goals, but when Hemed equalised in the 94th minute I lost my shit, got into an altercation with someone from the Brentford coaching setup who was watching the match and was in DEEP poo all the way home from Mrs EP.

Me too El P. Sat on my hands for the first goal, a fair bit of twitching on the second and on my feet jumping around on the third

Going back to the thread.

Can anyone from the 1901 club tell us?

Do they actually serve prawn sandwiches in there?[emoji38][emoji38]
Always thought it was a funny one for Keane to pick on. You can get a prawn sandwich for about £1.50 in Asda. Not really posh is it?

That was a proper, old-school, batshit, terrace-surge celebration for those of us behind the goal!

I seem to recall almost breaking your nose celebrating a goal in the Goldstone North Stand Mr EP. Might have been Leeds to stay up 81?

Wasn't the off-site hospitality added due to demand, so I assume match tickets had already been purchased and weren't then your 'normal' 1901 patrons?

Should have googled first - https://www.brightonandhovealbion.c...te-hospitality-available-for-liverpool-match/

Premium seating

It was added due to demand. They were still advertising it the week of the game so I’m not sure if it sold out. Andy Naylor said the club broke the hospitality record with over a 1000 diners though. Quite amazing.

Nah, can’t believe 1k diners. Mullery’s is 60, HB’s is 185, Stanmer (if sold out) is 100, Goldstone is about 120 - there’s another 500 to be found...

Ha. My wife’s first Albion game also featured Vicente. He scored two goals and she took too much of an interest in him for my liking. She still mentions him from time to time and calls him by his nickname, “The Dagger” in a gravely Spanish accent.
Portsmouth! :)

We were dining in the Mayo Wynne Baxter lounge. There were around 200 diners there. Don't all the boxes have meals included? If so that's another 200.

Only on NSC can you go from a polite request about the club's new hospitality to personal abuse, social injustice and class wars.

I'm well paid, vote Tory and act a bit like a socialist, work that one out!

Yes. Makes me wonder what changes we'll see over the Summer. I think the off site Liverpool hospitality was partly an exercise in testing the water to see how much unmet demand there is, with a view to adding more lounges/restaurants/boxes in the Amex for next season. Even if Stanmer didn't fully sell out, it's indicative of latent demand for on-site hospitality as for every diner at Stanmer there were probably several who were put off by the distance.
