Without wanting to throw a spanner in the works, I know which of the two I prefer.
Throw that spanner, which is it? I reckon it’s Sons of Kemet?

I agree that Machiavelli prefers Sons of Kemet.
Me? The Comet is Coming, all day long.
You're right on that. Me likes jaaaazzzzz, whereas proggy stuff doesn't do it for me. Hence I'm also a big fan of FYAH by Theon Cross, the tuba player in SoK.
Here you go. The reason why it is good to be the oldest guy in the moshpit.

Highly recommended for fans of noise pop, Rotterdam's visceral and brilliant The Sweet Release of Death play The Prince Albert tomorrow (Thursday) night.....bring earplugs.

Noise pop; a bit like heavy metal , barely any tune , and guaranteed to give you a headache after 10 mins listening. It’s a no from me.
They are playing Bognor this weekend as well at Rockaway Beech, I am looking forward to it, 28 bands back to back, as a previous poster showed, could be increasing my life expectancy.
Any advise on who I should miss when I need to go and eat. I think on Sunday I want to see everyone, may have to eat only fast food.

Got offered a ticket but have work. Dur. Please let us know how Young Knives are, if you can be arsed. They could be some indie relic playing biennial tours but instead they're getting more gothic and weird all the time, because they've got too many ideas not to experiment, and I like it a lot.
Will be at The Hope & Ruin this Friday for Clowns and Mum Dad & The Kids
I was thinking of doing that. Are they any good for £12? I can already envisage it being half-full of veterans in Smashing Pumpkins t-shirts supping ale - not that there's anything wrong with that, of course, but it might mean I trudge despondently out halfway through.
Jeffrey Lewis is playing Resident on Wednesday
