This is a co-ordinated attack, Benn and his cohorts have been waiting for the opportunity to do this. Labour needs cleansing of the likes of him who want to be a Tory Lite who actually don't appeal to anyone , if you want Tory you vote Tory as proved last year.

Corbyn has to up his game now, you're right he has to listen to the concerns of everyone who has voted Labour but now votes UKIP, for too long traditional Labour voters haven't been listened to , from Brighton to Newcastle and now the Labour Party has to reflect this and not be a party that encourages the London elite to run rough shod over the whole country.

I take it when you write in lower case, you are trying to make a serious point. What exactly is Corbyn's game ? His political thinking is unchanged in 40 years, how and why is he going to re-invent himself now ? his brand of woolly socialism is international and inclusive of the repressed everywhere, even if some of those repressed are rather closely linked with those prepared to use violence and terror to further their political ends. It would be truely enlightening to see the world through those eyes, but much like owning an all purpose amphibious flying car, I would rather have something entirely more practical right now.

23rd member of his Shadow Front Bench has just resigned - Roberta Blackman-Woods. Now 14 of the Shadow Cabinet itself.

Exactly, this is why all these MP's resigning are out of step, it's a complete and utter mess

They are, and they are a disgrace and are completely out of touch with the broader membership, let them go - Maybe this is the cleansing the party needed, Corbyn absolutely has a mandate.

Just far enough away from LDC
I was wondering about that. As leader, does he need those 35 MPs?

The NEC will need to decide. I believe that party took legal advice that said he wouldn't automatically be on the ballot but I'm sure cat Smith and the corbynista will take their own legal advice

Why are these MPs resigning in dribs and drabs? Is there a concerted plan to make it look as bad for Corbyn as possible or are they still unsure that Corbyn is the right man for the job?

It's an attempt to give an impression of mounting pressure, but while Corbyn can find warm (or even lukewarm) bodies to fill front-bench positions he'll be happy to carry on.

He's got a very warm body in Diane Abbott. On the radio last week she defended Jezza by stressing what a huge MANdate he had got from the Party. Makes you wonder where she would sit a Shadow Cabinet meetings; on his lap?

Now the members are starting to turn on him

The Daily Mirror's political editor has got wind of a letter he says is being circulated among the ranks of Young Labour, the youth wing of the party. It cites Jeremy Corbyn's "nonchalance" during the EU campaign, calling it "a betrayal of the very young people who passionately supported him".

The organisation says that "with a heavy heart" it is urging Mr Corbyn to step down.

Can't he see how much damage he is doing? He's a dead duck and there's a very real danger that UKIP could make huge gains in those Labour constituencies that voted Leave. If he really cares about the party and really cares about the disadvantaged in this country then he would resign and encourage the Corbynistas to get behind whoever replaces him.

Angela Eagle has gone now. That MUST be the end for Corbyn. By no means a Blairite, and one of the few top performers (and brains) that were left in the shadow cabinet.

This reminds me of the Iraq Information minister during the Gulf War.... Comical Ali.

Comical Jerry I think. The Members and the party still support me.

I suspect that they realise that he's a bit slow to twig, and that only constant reminders will force him to recognise that there's only him, McDonnell, Abbott and the lampshade left.
