They arguably have bigger mandates than jezza has. People voted for them to represent them in parliament. People voted for Corbyn to be leader simply they can't work with him. What do you want them to do, defect to the snp* or lib dems

* Brighton and Hove had an snp councillor in 1999

What happened to the Gang of 4 ? They couldn't work with Michael Foot so they left and set up their own party , so why aren't this rabble doing so ?

Because there is more than 4 of them. The gang of 39 has a ring to it.

It's hard to keep up with the numbers, but last count it was 14 cabinet ministers gone, 10 replacements in. So right now he can't replace them fast enough. There's more job security as Leeds manager under Cellino than Shadow Cabinet Minister under Corbyn.

The Labour Party will carry on nicely like it did in 1983 when Owen and his gang left, didn't work too well for them in the end and it will end the same way for Benn and his mob.

'Benn and his mob' are probably the majority of the PLP.

I agree, but the Gang of Four were a minority akin to the People's Front of Judea. This could possibly split the party into two halves, indeed given the chasm between 'heartland' Labour and 'metropolitan' Labour it could be argued that a split is more likely than not. (Not that I AM arguing that, but it is a possibility).

Didn't work out too well for the Labour Party either did it, with another 14 years of Tory rule to come!
