Christmas Party last night, so stayed in a hotel near the office.
No work getting done, most people in the office are still half cut and we are expecting a bollocking for the 4 figure bar bill.

The Brighton bus union must be twinned with their brothers here in Sydney .
We had a snap 24 hour strike today . 600,000 bus commuters stranded , coinciding
with the first decent rainful in months . Did help to douse most of the 60 or so bushfires though .

Should I cancel the bus we run from Brighton to Rodmell via the A27 and Kingston?
A decision is needed in the next 10 minutes. Any advice from NSC?
As of 12.00 noon Brighton & Hove Buses weren't running anything beyond Falmer.

Amazing how many lazy people use it as an excuse, even in this economic climate people aren't exactly showing willing. Not talking about everyone of course, just those who you know wouldn't make it. Yet people from the same neck of the woods have somehow e.g. they actually left their front doors and tried.

I took a tactical morning off work but have made the 15 minute walk to the office only to find that it's quite empty. I think this is more related to everyone getting massively trolleyed at last night's Christmas bash rather than the snow. My manager was leaving as I arrived with a slightly green looking face.
