Nice bloke, but out of his depth as a manager. Worse squad or not (it's not a bottom end of the championship squad)
.

That remains to be seen though. See what the next guy does once he has had a few games.

A tactically unaware Finn
Reluctantly went to the bin.
There wasn't much grief
Just a sigh of relief
And a hope that, one day soon, we win.

Christ, I almost wish he had stayed after that.

Whilst i wanted Hyppia gone and thought he was a shockingly poor manager of our club I dont feel much like celebrating, I think he was completely the wrong fit at the wrong time and TB and his minions need to shoulder the blame for appointing him in the first place. I hope this signals the start of a bigger cull with Burke heading the top of the list to be next out of the door, that guy couldn't identify talent sitting at the top table at the Ballon D'Or awards, fecking useless recruitment consultant suited more to head hunting estate agents than finding quality footballers.

Nice bloke, but out of his depth as a manager. Worse squad or not (it's not a bottom end of the championship squad) he made tactical error after error and didn't seem to learn from any of them.
Intrigued to see what ideas Nathan Jones has, did a lot of the coaching last season.
Spot on !!!!

Three managers leaving the club in less than two years and all three of them wanting to leave is hardly a ringing endorsement of the club. Wonder who would want to come?

Gus wanted to manage in the Premier League, Oscar had a lot of personal baggage, stress and undiagnosed health issues that probably were playing their part when he was here, Hyppia was just not very good. i think the right person would do very well here even with the current squad, its all about recruiting the right man.

Feel a bit sorry now that he's actually gone - although I thought he should have gone a while ago, I was getting used to the idea of getting a few new faces in in January, seeing how it went, with the option to replace him with ten or a dozen games to go if we were still in deep sh1te.

Oh well, I'm sure he tried his best, and to be fair he wasn't dealt the best of hands. Resigning was honourable - so respect or that. Best of luck to him for the future.

Cant believe people are celebrating; the timing could not have been worse, no replacement until the New Year, therefore another wasted transfer window as there will be on one to chose the players they want. Bent will not re-sign for us now. It is potentially a disaster and I really fear for our safety in this division. Still, as long as a vocal group of fans are happy.......

Please remove the blindfolds we were as good as down with the that Buffoon in charge ... I'll wager he doesn't ever get another top management post. Can't believe you think he would keep us up

Well if this goes through, it saddens me. I know he wasn't providing our team with a winning mentality or causing great cheer among the masses, but I liked him for all his inexpressiveness and hidden intention. I hope he finds a decent position with the necessary experienced support for him to have another go at it somewhere.

No chance totally inept

It's not just Hyppia though, the whole football side of the club is a shambles. It needs a complete fresh start and if it means Jones, BERK and the rest of the clowns going so be it

If we want a decent manager I agree with you - there is a first for everything! But a gazillion % this. Assuming there is any money left obviously....

I think Pulis is the right man, but Christ as a person he seems like an utterly contemptible man. He exudes this extremely depressing aura, he comes off as some dodgy school headmaster. Almost get a nazi officer vibe from him.
