If the next 5 years turns to shit then the Tories will have to own the lot , their lies may come back to haunt them

Will they? They didn't have to own their last 5 years of shit

Don't be a tit. I didn't want the fat liar to win. That doesn't mean Corbyn isn't a useless oaf. Succinct enough for you? ???

Yes, I realise that but your decision to vote for that nice kind grandad seemed puzzling. Yes, he seemed to you to be the least mediocre of the two of them, but he will take your vote as one of confidence in his policies, which you say you don't necessarily agree with!

Well said sir. For 3 1/2 years they have tried to stop the brexit result. Well this is the country saying enough is enough. No more. All those that have denied the referendum I hope they have lost their seats. Particularly Soubry.

I can't believe that so many thought that the people would give up democracy for their chosen party.
The viciousness from the remainers like you say for the past 3.5 years have wound people up, beyond their standard patience threshold.

Agree Soubry was a pain in the arse.

Good spot that - Oh! and if you look even more closely at your screenshot, you will see the other good work the Tories are doing with their despised Universal Credit - maybe you should have cropped that bit off…!

The arse end of Hangleton
Another stupid prat.
How can I be a bad loser when I couldn't support either party with both of their leaders.
But I do know that this is a mistake of monumental proportion.
If Labour had won I would have been very nervous about it.
I was hoping for a hung parliament, resignations galore 2 decent leaders that actually care.
The majority of the public have once again proved they are stupid, ignorant and feckless by making a GE all about Brexit.
A Brexit that will ruin this country.

You OK hun ? Fancy a curry ?

Sorry, this was effectively a second Brexit referendum - Labour have lost massively (it appears) in the North and Midlands, usual Labour hotbeds, purely because those areas were massive Leave areas - I just really can't believe that former Labour supporters have jumped into bed with the Tories, just to leave the EU - how thick are people. Short term gain for long term pain...!

Exactly. They'll be worse off. Nice one.

The other consideration, possibly the only positive one, is that a majority like that will totally negate the power of the extreme right in the form of the ERG.

Boris wont need them any more so could take a more moderate line?

This may well be true.

But Corbyn and chums were inept and deserved to lose. Not happy that the fat liat has won, but his trousers will be round his ankles soon enough.

The oaf who has come online to mock my considered posts, though - what a plum.

West is BEST
All depressingly predictable. I said it would be Tory landslide and nothing has changed my opinion in the last two months.
Let's hope Johnson tempers his No Deal ambitions. As for the poor and the NHS? They don't stand a chance.

That can’t be true. This confirms we leave the EU and economic experts on NSC have been telling me that means the pound will crash.

*cough* we haven't left the EU yet *cough*

Have you stopped to think why they are silent?

It's because they are ashamed of themselves. And they should be.

Don't be so silly. Most folk just want to get on with their lives, and support their families. They don't have an intrinsic interest in politics, but are aware of the intricacies and everyday realities of life -the university of life, if you want. To say they are ashamed is absurd.

Wonder which party leader will be first to resign in the morning, Corbyn or Swinson? My money's on Corbyn with both gone by lunchtime

Corbyn didn't quit after the majority of his own party failed to give him a vote of confidence. He'll hang on to deliver Proper Socialism no doubt.

Boris probably can't believe his luck

Very thick indeed.
And they will now see that their Brexit will be nothing like they think it will be or wanted, but they will now see the damage it will do to this country.
