You choose to believe the half dozen rabble rousers who would have deselected Kyle and handed the seat to Robert Nemeth and you do so because you know and understand **** all about our town and community. It’s like me posting condescending nonsense about Galway because I once had a bottle of Hooker

So what you are telling us is that without any first hand knowledge of your own, you have taken the word of one employee who has lost his/her job over another - and it happens to fit in your 'world view' that it is 'nothing to do with Brexit'.... Really? Well, see you later, hopefully after you have recognised how silly and partial your comments are.......

There are two sides to every story.

Oh yea - a Blairite is the only candidate capable of beating a Tory - if that was the case Corbyn wouldn't even be an MP - socialists would never have been elected to the LP (including the first ever Labour MP) - and the Blairites would be in perpetual power.

And by the way - it is not that long ago that the Blairites (yes Kyle's bunch) on B&H council tried to close Hove library and flog the property off to private developers - and the Tories (including Nemeth) were part of the political concoction that stopped them. It is bad when the person you are cheer-leading was stopped by a Tory from trying to sell off a library to create profit for a speculator.

Not true. Do you think that if someone like Chris Williamson had been elected the attacks would not have been as severe? Its not really about his personality. Corbyn is being attacked for his long held socialist, ant-racist anti-imperialist world view, shared by very many in the labour party membership. The bulk of the media, the right of his own party and the neo-con military industrial complex in the USA/UK cant tolerate the prospect of a British PM holding such a world view.

whats "not true"? unless something changes, the polling is telling us Corbyn and his politics are not widely liked. his views may be held in high regard within the party, its worth noting they represent ~1% of the electorate.

We’ll see. I’d happily wager money on Kyle getting re-elected on a large local vote, Labour getting heavily beaten nationwide and Corbyn clinging on like a twitching corpse. In fact I’ll probably shove a few quid on both before Thursday

How does a Green know what’s going on in Labour anyway? I thought you *didn’t* support Labour?

The arse end of Hangleton
There is no anti-semitism problem in the LP - a handful of people making anti-semitic comments out of a party of over half a million members is not a 'problem' - it is hysteria whipped up by the Blairites, the Tories and the right-wing media..

SO do I believe the Jewish Labour members that have spoken out - some that are MPs - or do I believe someone based in Ireland and posts on a football chat board ( oh, and clearly supports an extreme left wing organisation and possibly even the IRA ) ? Hmmmmm ...... difficult one .....

1. Yet is such an abject failure at dealing with the problem in the party HE is the leader of.
2. Wouldn't care if he was - I don't consider Hamas terrorists
3. Yet likes to have tea with the IRA when he had zero influence over what was going on and even went and spoke at an IRA members funeral. Not to mention his sympathy for the IRA members killed in the war. .

Which IRA members funeral did he attend and speak at?

Sums up labour at the moment, don’t drink the cool aid 100 percent you are out.

Rubbish! Labour is supposed to be a Democratic Socialist Party as defined in its constitution, not a party of neo-liberal blairite careerists. Other parties are available. I dont like Chuka Ummana much, but at least he left to join a party that matches his own views. Kyle, Blair et al should do the same, giving the electorate a real choice.

The electorate has a choice and they’re choosing Boris

Again, what does a Green care? If Labour moves right you take their votes

There are two sides to every story.

Welcome back bashlsdir; glad your self imposed exile was short... I think. Indeed there are two sides to every story, but you seem to be trying to present one of the 'two sides' as fact. Have you learnt that approach from the tory press?

Whats not true is that you said that if the labour party was led by anyone else other than Corbyn they would be doing better. Its not him its his policies which could have been espoused by other Labour MPs.

Noticeable that the three biggest Corbyn shills on here, Middlesboro Mikey, Jolly Irish Giant and Ben don’t have a nano second inside the Amex Stadium between them. It’s enough to make you want to side with Chicken Run

They are choosing, choosing Boris Johnson over the current labour set up.

Unless labour change potentially they are not getting into power for years.

So the choice is change, or remain the opposition
