Mouldy brains is great, isn't he? Whatever it was he said

Trying to be defining and important, but slightly missed and just comes across as despotic. I'm not yet sure if it was intentional or not.

Here we go; attack on the media begins with, who else?...the BBC.

Obviously , Tory voters have every right to be a bit smug at present but you have handed a lot of control over to a self serving, profiteering mob of liars and we will be seeing many future attacks on our most important institutions.

I get a definite sense Boris Johnson is going after anyone he thinks has slighted him.
A dangerous motivation for the leader of a country.

I’m genuinely very concerned about where this is all going to lead over the next few years. News like this does nothing to subdue those fears.

I also find it worrying that we are a mere four days after his victory and apart from some empty waffle about making Britain Great and honouring our trust, rather than spending his energy detailing how he might do this he puts it into threats against the BBC.

What? Many Indians are Muslims, so that doesnt make sense. Or was the caller impling Labour was biased against Hindus and Sikhs. Oh, by the way Corbyn is not racist to Jews or anyone else. He has consistently been one of the leading anti-racist campaigners in the UK for decades.

Don’t tell me. Tell the bloke who called in and didn’t vote Labour.

Wasting police time, causing obstructions, just being a general pain in the arse.

Yes, democracy is when you have a vote, and you follow out the wish of the majority.

We have had two now, and still these muppetts keep obstructing everyday life.
They should be sentenced to a 10-year ban on voting for persistent offending.

Can you imagine if every time someone lost a vote, the others would protest.

Come on take it on the chin and support Britain going forward or go and live in Scotland and stamp you feet.
The wish of the majority, as you well know, is a leftist parliament with a second referendum.

The right to vote and the right to protest are both part of a functioning liberal democracy. Sounds like you want right-wing North Korea.

You clearly don’t understand democracy as you clearly lack any and all understanding of the right to protest. And advocating prison time or to ban people from voting, because they disagree with your politics, is a tad totalitarian (the exact opposite of democracy) don’t you think?

You seem to be confusing holding the government to account and being a Tory sycophant who condones poverty, wage stagnation, public service cuts, rising homelessness and foodbank use. I accept the result, but I will not ‘take it on the chin’, I will keep banging out about it the entire time the Tories push on with their ruinous austerity fanaticism that continues to benefit the wealthy at the expense of the most vulnerable in society.

That's a rib-tickling post thanks for my damp white y fronts this morning.
Wake up, the reason you did not win the election was because........................?

No one condones poverty, what are you talking about?

Christ on a ****ing multicoloured bike.

The ban would not be because Mouldy disagrees with the protestors, it would be because the country has had enough of this wasteful movement of life, as the results keep proving.
The 10-year ban could be negotiable and may be cut to 5 on good behaviour.

What has been going on in our politics overvths last few weeks is extreme, particularly from the Conservatives. Extremism breeds extremism, so Johnson is reaping what he has sown. If he is seeking to unite the country - and I am prepared to believe he is - he has to deal with it.

The day we start dealing with demonstrators the way you are suggesting Will be a very sad day.

I am saying that need to realise they are wasting essential resources and cost the country a fortune which could go elsewhere, it achieves nothing apart from anger.

I was talking to a nice lady the other day, but I noticed a hint of anger in her voice as she moved on to left-wing politics trying to sell to me like a Jehovah, well strange may it seem, I won't be dictated to a group of extremists.

The wish of the majority, as you well know, is a leftist parliament with a second referendum.

Well seeing as we had a referendum on the voting system in this country which I assume you didn’t like the result of perhaps all the ‘leftist’ parties should merge then?

I think you will find Notters likes a dry joke, he nearly caught me!

So, just to be clear, you're in favour of taking votes off people in the UK?

I think you're going to be sadly disappointed with your first statement as well. Cummings may be pulling the strings at the moment but Boris is an absolute classic liberal. As London Mayor he was a total centerist, promoting cycling and energy saving Boris buses and was elected by a Remain supporting, multi-cultural city. He's a social liberal who thinks mainly with his cock. With a massive majority he'll be straight back to the centre. There'll be a few dog whistle policies, like "punishing" the BBC, to keep Cummings happy but the likes of Raab and Patel will be shifted stage right in the big re-shuffle.

I caught a labour man moaning about the ruling elite on the radio this morning. Then a mate of mine (from Canada) sent me the link (below) from New Zealand.

I may have mentioned that have always voted labour (except when voting tactically against the tories) and that I don't like Boris or Brext, but.....I mean, come on....this is an attack on the 'stupidity' of people who didn't vote labour....that is as unfair as it is unwise

What is it with left being unable to accept defeat? You are assuming that all who voted, but nor for the Torys wants a leftist government, maybe a reasonable chunk wanted a centrist choice?

I finally caught up with this weeks episode of The Bugle.

The always funny Mark Steel (on this of all days) absolutely hammers The Green parties Molly Scott Cato standing in Stroud West.

The previously Labour held marginal seat was last won by 600 votes.

No Liberal stood this time, but Nimrod Cato did, and she did very well getting over 4,500 votes.

The Conservatives overturned the slender majority by, drum roll please...

....4,000 votes.

We get the government we deserve.

Well said! The level of bile in that article is just ridiculous - and wtf has it got to do with New Zealand anyway?

Impressive. They've even invented a fictitious Parliamentary constituency!
