They certainly do. They support terrorists and have an Idol in Lenin, probably Mao and support that terrible scurge, socialism. That harbinger of death, persecution and poverty. Corbyn voted continuously against the European Union. Now what is he saying? Liars, miscreants and definitley residivist communists.

Saying Labour's socialism is like Lenin or Mao's communism is like saying Christianity is the same as the Spanish Inquisition.

Boris loves the NHS, no he really really does. Honestly. Hilarious there is an advert for private medical cover during the video. Actually it is not funny it makes me as mad as duck.

He hasnt, as he has been thwarted by an opposition hell bent on destroying the country. If not we would now be out of the EU. As it happens name me a politician who does what he or she says.

If he hadn't pulled the Bill that Parliament had just voted to progress - then we could be half way through debating it now, with it possibly being passed in the next few weeks and then out of the EU. You must realise that he's only holding this election to try and gain a longer stay in power for himself. Nothing else.

So, it wasn't Johnson that Lied to The Queen to illegally shut down Parliament?

It wasn't Johnson that pulled his withdrawal agreement that had already been approved by Parliament?

It wasn't Johnson that told his party that with him as leader we would definitely be out of the EU at 11pm tonight?

Wasn't Johnson who voted against the whip under his previous PM, then withdrew the whip from over 20 loyal Tory MPs when they did the same...

But it wouldn't have passed, and that's the point.

The DUP, Lib Dems and Labour would have voted in sufficient numbers to ensure it would not pass in its current guise - and rightly so if they don't agree with it - meaning yet another impasse.

I don't like Johnson one jot, but the only hope he has of getting his deal though is by securing a working majority in the Commons first, and that is what he is trying to do.

If he does secure a majority then we'll be exiting the EU significantly quicker than would be the case if the election had not been called.

If he doesn't secure a majority then, frankly, **** knows what happens to Brexit next...

You seem to imply that the individual leaders, Johnson or Corbyn, would be individually responsible for running the economy. In reality of course, while there is overall leadership, there are many others, Cabinet Ministers, Advisors, external groups and (when in government) an army of civil servants all there to provide advice, and be involved in decision making. This is probably more so in the case of Corbyn, who is more often accused of not being a strong enough leader but Johnson, when Major of London, did have a reputation for delegating the 'difficult/detailed stuff' to others.

So should you not try and look beyond the idividuals at the top and see the wider group that would be involved?
Personally I don't think so. I dislike Johnson a lot. He's not principled and it was apparent he'd do whatever it took to get into power, and it worked. After resigning from the cabinet because of May's deal, he's now pushing his own version which appears to be worse. If he had a majority government I can't really say what he'd do, because I don't really know what he stands for. As well as Brexit, I'm worried what he'd do with the NHS and his buddy Donald.

Corbyn on the other hand is extremely principled. He's faced a war from his own party, just to remain leader. If he won a majority, he will have proven all the doubters wrong (and I mean those within his own party, let alone the rest of us). I can't imagine him then sitting back and seeing how the rest of his party want to run the country. He would impose his wishes on the country, as confident as any fanatic that he was doing right by the people, particularly given that it would appear that the people gave him a mandate to do so. His principles are not equalled by a grasp of economic reality.

Many people will never have heard of many of these. As an example, I know that Anneliese Dodds is increasingly influential as a Shadow Minister within the Shadow Treasury team. While still a new MP (elected 2017) she brings a lot of experience from her time as an MEP. She is exactly the type of a hard working, thoughtful, dedicated MP, with real integrity, that I want as close to power as possible. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0005qhx/question-time-2019-06062019 (warning, contains Piers Morgan)
You may well be right about her, but I've just watched the first 5 minutes where she justifies Corbyn protesting against the state visit for Donald Trump. I hate Trump, but he is the leader of the US, and he therefore gets a state visit. In my opinion it is completely unacceptable to suggest Trump can't have a state visit, while accepting the same for a country like China. Communism is extremely bad for the people, but Corbyn is fine with it, and Anneliese Dodds (understandably, as she has to) backs him up.

I look at Ministers and advisors (mainly brought in from the dark money funded, hard-right, think-tanks of tufton Street) in the Johnson government and do NOT feel reassured about who he'd be taking advice from.
Indeed I agree with you there. I just don't think sensible advice will stop Corbyn doing what he wants. There were of course plenty of front bench Labour MPs who didn't agree with Corbyn's decisions, so they tried to influence him down a different path. It didn't work, and they resigned in droves.

Learned all those words before you broke up for half term?

Personally I find the use of ‘retard’ as a response to someone’s opinion thait happens to differ to your own, a bit pathetic. But actually I feel using that word in any context offensive and totally unnecessary.

On reflection, TW@T could have been a better choice of word. But having double checked, I think retard is perfect.

We're all entitled to our opinion. I do think it's mildly offensive, as was the original post. JC has more talent on his allotment than the OP does politically. (I do not profess to be any the wiser)

If you find it personally offensive perhaps a SAGA magazine or caravan club is more your bag :D

He withdrew his own deal that was voted through parliament. The people hell bent on destroying the country are the hard right Tories, the Brexit Party, PPF, Mouldy Nuts, 2P, and yourself.

I think its optimistic to think the bill would have passed. The amendments would have been such that it would have needed to go back to the EU to re negotiate the new position.

This post is not a great advert for Corbynistas....

Asides the fact I couldn't give a shit one way or another, on what do you base your statement?

The ORiginal post suggested something which is clearly untrue, in fact it's possibly even slanderous. Even if labour win with a landslide. . . .no one has ever won an election and cruised through every radical idea their opponents have even dared suggested, let alone the ones they would like to.

It's little wonder the country is ****ed, right royally, up the arse, without even any royal intervention. Which would arguably be a good thing . . . And that really would be a sad state of affairs!
