Poor work

Too bad, Harry. Thankfully I am not one of your students.
Seriously though, there is little point in banging away going over point after point after this has been done ad infinitum on here.
Those who disagree will continue to disagree, and quite honestly, there has been so much coverage in the media about the Labour Party manifesto pointing out the dangers, shortcomings, and unrealistic spending plans that if you and others want to read about it, go ahead.
Just because I have neither the time nor the inclination to comment further, it doesn't mean to say those problems do not exist.

I have wasted quite a few hours arguing the toss with people who think a Boris majority would be marvellous, and anything else a betrayal or disaster, and I'll not shift from my view that a Boris majority would be a disgrace......but it is going to happen though, isn't it?

So, dunno why the tory activists on here are getting so agitated and relentless. Have I missed something (a late massive upswing for Jezza) like I did last time? ???

If I were a Boris boy I'd have my feet up and the telly on, and wouldn't be poncing about on NSC posting tropes and dodgy web links - looks pathetic, frankly. Talk about using a sledgehammer to crack a broken nut

Some people are quite weird. Or paid. Yes, paid must be the answer. How much, I wonder? ???
To me it is more about them cheering for the right team. In an era of red team versus blue team politics people seem to pick a side like a football team and their bias cannot be tamed.

You can usually spot them because they will hear nothing negative about their heroes in rosettes.

Politicians and their press buddies are the real winners.

So you make a statement that you cannot back up and have no evidence for.

Not true, GG.
We are now on Page 514 of this thread, and at this stage, I reckon there is very little new that any of us on either side of the political spectrum can add that hasn't been said already. Or perhaps you disagree.
There is plenty of evidence to suggest that Labour's plans for the economy are , in the opinion of many informed commentators, a danger to the British economy. As I said to Ben, if you need further research, look it up.
Just because I am not willing to bang away on a keyboard regurgitating all that has been said before, it doesn't mean to say that my statement is not valid. It just means, I have other things to do that I consider more important.

Apparently it's looking likely it could snow quite significantly on election day. Which would add a bit of a curve-ball into proceedings, especially for the pensioner vote.

Equally the same research and informed commentators say the same about the Tories and in turn Brexit. The IFS yesterday pointing out that we likely face a council tax bombshell under the Tories who would rather blame local authorities for under funding than themselves. At the end of last week it was actually the Financial Times that published leading economists backing Labour's plans over the other parties.

So you can balance your statement with your own further research.

There's plenty of influence from Russia in the election, sadly it won't be in the weather

I'd say the latest data suggest snow Manchester northwards, rain down here. It would be quite the variable to throw into the demographic mix of UK voters.

Fair comment, Bold.
However, the main point of my post was to say I can't be bothered in going over all the old arguments on here for ever and a day, 'cos all the shots have been fired before, from the trenches on both sides.
Life is too short, and hopefully, most of us have other things in our life to occupy us.......Christmas Truce maybe?::kiss::lolol:

Its been a cult for a while.

From experience of some Tory voters in my own family I'll add to that, "a feeling that they can be openly xenophobic / racist and it is now deemed as acceptable behaviour"

Of course if Boris gets in that will be a further endorsement this is now the acceptable norm

That’s horrifying, please can you provide a credible link to this apparent horrific story please.

Seem neither governments are interested...

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...fers-grieving-families-loans-to-return-bodies

“They gave me a document saying the two governments will not pay for repatriation,” he said. “They offered two options: receiving ashes or the body. For the first option, we have to pay 41,100,000 Vietnam dong (£1,370), while we have to pay for 66,240,000 Vietnam dong (£2,209) for the body.”

UK gov needs to keep power dry for no deal planning, sorry....
