The Google search of Ms Riley gives this sidebar:-

Rachel Annabelle Riley is a British television presenter and mathematician. She is well known for demonising Jeremy Corbyn who is the current leader of the UK Labour party with claims of anti-semitism against him whilst actively promoting racism herself. Wikipedia

Which seems to leave more questions than answers.

Why if NSC is reflective of the nation in general with posters being from different walks of life in different parts of the UK/world.

Because it isn't? Because an online poll bears started months in advance no relation to election day? Because it takes no account of tactical voting?

Rather than just rip up my polling card, which is my first reaction when faced with endorsing any one of these duplicitous wankers, am actually contemplating voting for legendary sub-genius Bob Dobbs for the first, and hopefully last, time ever

you mock, however £130bn in that article is £650bn over a parliament, plus £400bn National Transformation fund and you are a whisker away. thats before counting the £250bn National Investment Bank. it'll all be fine, spending so much so quickly, nothing could go wrong.

I mock because A) the figure is hugely incorrect and B) I've never met a person who considers putting cash into investments as a reduction in their wealth.

I’m #TeamRiley think she is doing a great job in speaking out.

Pregnant, well paid job on countdown and super intelligent , she has potentially a lot to lose by speaking out against Corbyn but she does so because she believes like many people it is the right thing to do.

Mandela if you do some research was clearly no fan of Corbyn either.

what is the possibility that Labour could finish 3rd behind Lib Dems as per this poll on NSC?

About as likely as Marcus Trescothick flying halfway around the world to replace Sibley in the next test.

Seems they have had this anti-semitism issue for some time, doesn't it? I would have thought somebody might have addressed it by now.

You do realise Eds parents are Jewish, right?

Wonder what Mandelas grandson has to say on the matter?

“This freedom we have today we owe to the likes of Jeremy Corbyn,” Chief Mandela says.

“My grandfather and South Africans in totality would still look to him to be the conscience, the real voice of morals, in the British society.”

Okay then.

a) look at the numbers posted, what do they add up to and b) its not really investment if there is no saleable asset or return. buying utility assets is one thing, spaffing billions on home insulation which cant return anything, will not pay back any bond holders.

It seems rather obvious that Tory will be the largest party with Boris keeping his job, the main question being will he get an overall majority but what is the possibility that Labour could finish 3rd behind Lib Dems as per this poll on NSC?

A bit vague; this may be true but you seem rather sure.
On what do you base this assertion? Hope?

I've noticed the fisherman of Hastings are up for Brexit, maybe you could pop down and persuade them otherwise, maybe join them for a beer and sing a few shanty's

Perhaps I'll ask them who they intend on selling their fish to given the high likelihood their catch is being exported tariff-free to Europe. Catching all the fish in the world is fine until you have to sell them to make a living.

What is the obsession with fishing?
Less than 15,000 jobs, 0.02 % of the population are involved with commercial fishing, and it gets huge amounts of press attention.

I can’t fathom it , myself.

Considering they have already been privatised, Water, utilities & trains are quite obviously salable assets.#

In terms of the national investment bank, the funds aren't giveaways, they are appear to loans and will result in repayments and possibly interest intake. Taken from the manifesto:

""We will create a National Investment Bank, backed up by a network of Regional Development Banks, to provide £250 billion of lending for enterprise, infrastructure and innovation over 10 years. They will be mandated to lend in line with our mission to decarbonise our economy while increasing productivity and creating good jobs across the country. As well as large-scale national and regional projects, smaller loans will be available through our new post Bank based in Post Office branches, "

In terms of broadband, not only will it reduce household outgoings, It's estimated the move could boost the economy by £59Bn.

http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/broa...adband-benefits-economy-jobs-openreach-report

The £400Bn for the green transformation fund, quote frankly is needed. We can't sit on our hands forever, this needs sorting before the damage becomes irreversible. However, The fund is to transform the country into a more carbon neutral country, and will create jobs. More jobs is never a bad thing. It could mean green exports, cheaper energy and more income tax. That will soften the blow. Long term. £400Bn is a a one off total pledge. The planet is forever.
