His estimated finish time is 15:03. I'm not sure if this means 15 hours or 3 o'clock though.

What was your finish time? Oh yeah you couldn't be bothered.

Never again. Stick to 10k's. Calf popped coming back to St Dunstans got a massage along Kings Road then got it strapped coming along New Church Road. Ran until 15 then walked and ran every two miles.

Ran last two miles, huge Albion support on seafront really spurred me on.

Gus high fived me as I went through start and we had some banter re press tomorrow morning. That made my day.......almost until I saw finishing line.

Well done to all that completed I say!

Piss off you pathetic waste of chubby space. I started marathon running 5 years ago and I have a personal best of 3:09 gained at the age of 41 which qualifies me for most of the world's marathons including the prestigious Boston "victory lap" which only people with "good for age" times can do. I ran it last year. I am running NYC this year.

I have also raised shit loads more money than you in my time.

I'm proud of this, are you proud of 6 hours 30?

Yep and I am heavy weight champion of the world. But like you I can't prove it.

Yep with a pulled calf muscle before half way and a twenty minute stint with SJA. I am proud I completed for REMF.

Good on ya. I saw someone in an REMF shirt 'near' the back with me and I assume that must have been you (complete with calf bandage!).

I was going to say hello when you disappeared in to thin air just before the industrial estate.

Well done for finishing. I hit the wall at about 16 miles and my knees wouln't bend for the rest of the race. 6:24.21 for me I think, not bad for a beginner with er... a distinct lack of training for a variety of reasons.

That's pretty unfair Mr T. 6hours 30 is better than a lot of us can do, and it IS something to be proud of. Giving it the big I am on this thread is just making you sound like a bit of a prick.

Well done Tim.

I saw Tim at 22 miles and he was clearly struggling and in great pain. The fact he completed the further 4.2 miles after being severly injured, strapped up and spending 20 minutes with SJA makes me wonder how many people would have thrown the towel in ? A lot, I would guess, so for me it was a heroic effort.

Exactly!

Ps Thanks for the encouragement and high five!

That was me. I assume you has a whoopsidaisey shirt on? I did see you we changed positions a few times. I should have said hi. Were you near the firemen? I got a sprint on when I saw Gareth he reminded me of my old PE teacher. Bless him, thanks for waiting GG.

I saw and chatted with Richie a few times I was actually in front on him at the Stiene. Nice lad.

I wanted to wait until all the team went past. I saw you respond to my punching the air and I hope I gave you a lift.

That was I. Way behind the rest of the Whoopsadaisy field. Quite a battle we had for a long time in that case. I should have grabbed you, but didn't feel particularly chatty! :lolol:

Don't try and rework your pathetic time into a flimsy story of heroism. Marathon running isn't about excuses, it's about delivering.

Blimey he's really upset now. He'll be telling us he ran the Grand National next.

He did deliver.

He finished and he raised money.

Mine was about doing something I never expected to do and raise some money for a good cause. I imagine not everyone has such a competitive edge when it comes to a big feat.
