Many congratulatulations to the 9 heroes of the REMF marathon team. All nine of you should be immensely proud of yourselves, not just for the incredible amount of money that you have collectively raised for the REMF, but in successfully covering the full marathon course. This is a superb personal achievement and all posters should recognise and applaud what you have done.

I'd also like to add my congratulations to Gareth for the great job he has done in organizing the team in the manner that he has.

Many congatulations once again to all concerned.

Finished in 4.17.53, 3 minutes outside my target. I was bang on target for 20 miles ;-) (isn't that what every Marathon Runner says).
Some great support out on the course from everyon that saw my nam or the REMF logo, Particularly good supporting from Mr Blobby - marshalling all day & Uncle Spielberg seeing his runners through the toughest part of the course.

About 11 weeks to go until my real REMF challenge!

Was really pleased with my time as over 40 mins quicker than last year. Enjoyed the first 16 miles but very hard going after walking for a bit to get going again.
Was fun having all the seagull chants directed at me, did respond with a few eagles in the 1st few miles.
Well done to everyone else that got round.

Couldn't find you by the stage before the start.

I found Mr Morris just as Gus came on stage, so that made up for not seeing you!

If I'm feeling generous, I might post a nicer picture at some point.

Yes, I did wave at an REMF shirt on the way out of the powers station. I was too knackered to shout at that stage!

That is amazing, is that a final figure or is money still due to be collected, hats off to all the runners, its bloody impressive.

Not the final figure. I am still hoping to get to £ 10000.
