The meeting of all past cohorts was a bit overlong and the prophet's drawn-on face cheap and Dalton's superglove amusingly bad and the whole Star Wars ode a bit corny, but The Master's watchable madness made it worthwhile.

Possibly a bit overlong but for me EOT 2 was easily the best Xmas special of New Who and possibly the best episode that RTD has written - helped by some magnificent music from Murray Gold (especially towards the end). Really liked the way they resolved the whole 'four knocks' thing too. Not sure how the Rassilon thing worked out but maybe it's due to the vagaries of the Time War or something
