PS - I'm just looking at old league tables. SPL = 12 teams, 38 games each. How does that work?
League splits at the end doesn't it? Play all 11 other teams 3 times each, then the split, then play the other 5 in your half of the table once again.

SPL clubs vote overwhelmingly to reject Rangers' newco application to join the top flight.
SSN breaking news that it's confirmed Rangers will not be playing in the Premier League next season. Dundee or Dunfermline to replace them.
Votes for SFL to come, Rangers need 16 out of thirty to vote in their favour.
It would, but even going to the third div wouldn't end them. When do they vote?
Please say today, Rangers all but killed in a few hours would be smashing.
Scottish football will survive, just a lot of scare mongering going on.

It'd be funny if they failed to get out of Div 1 for a few seasons. Like, almost getting there but JUST missing out. Like with Huddersfield and League One.
Definitely. And given the financial risks to the clubs that made the decision, I take my hat off to them for doing the right thing.A great decision. Would have made mockery out of the system had they been allowed to enter the newco into the PL.
