Sorry but on another thread somebody asked where the money tree was to provide £10k per week to pay two players and I stupidly thought 2000 people ( less than 33% of our crowd) spending £5.each would go a long way towards it Sorry

Now I'm really confused. I thought this thread was about the expensive prices and now BG thinks that the prices should be jacked up to produce £5 profit per person. My rough guess is that should get burgers at about £7 or £8. That will really increase trade.

Personally, now matter what price the food is, I'm not going to buy it and I'm sure that many people think the same. The thing is, I go to Withdean to watch football not to eat: football stadia are for football, restaurants/cafes/pubs are for food.

As Beach Hut quite rightly says; if you don't like the prices don't buy. You have a choice.

It is about value for money and the lost revenue that the club could be gaining. Or don't we njeed it!!

The £5 turnover represented a burger £2.50 with cheese 50p chips at approx £1.00 and coke £1.50 total £5.50 cost of goods approx 70p continuing overheads est £1.00 profit £3.80. These prices are as they are now except chips which they dont do

Pies? They've all been eaten. Can the ruminations conclude now, please? Only I think the point has been made.
