I have always said white working class. I have never tried to hide that. I find it an insult to think that any left wing organisation uses the word working class.

May be the whole idea of class is outdated but it still exist in a lot of peoples minds

Generally....

Wasn't Working Class the famlies of manual workers on a relatively low wage?

Middle the owners or managers of factories and businesses

Upper the investors and directors of business together with lords and well off families.

Today you can get any mix of that poor or rich.

Its nothing like it was.

I don't think they are smart enough to know what was going on, but if they are not smart enough, then the BNP are light years behind I am afraid.

I don't think they are as daft as you think. Check out Nick Griffin's speech on the economy. Its on youtube. I think how to solve the economic problems is the hardest task. I think people are going to find it hard that things are going to get really tough in the coming years

I agree Cov. I think people dont realise how bad it will get. Things like weeds growing on streets will get worse, because we cant aford to pay anyone to get rid of them. Small things which will mean alot.

Nothing like it - you never had the benefits system we have today.

If you were out of work you felt it the next week. The working class had nothing then, these days I have known people who are unemployed with thousands in savings.

I know people who appear well off but don't own anything save for their clothes and spare change.

Those people never existed last century

I think today it is not so clearly defined as it was but I am an old dinosaur. Still cling to my working class roots.

The defention of Class is a difercult and i really cant be botherd to get into a debate about it now, it will use alot of my brain power and i cant be botherd. We will have to agree to disagree and the subject of class.

I don't think I could live in a society that has weeds on the streets

I think we will have to ask El pres. If he thinks it will get really bad. I honestly think that we are standing on the edge of the abyss.

My use of 'weeds' on the street, is an example of things to come. Its not just weed. Electricity will go out. Pot holes in the road will not get repaird. No one will have petrol.

Stop going on about the last century. Its making me feel bloody ancient. Yes things are very different now. You could say that the underclass is much larger than it ever was and almost cut adrift from society.

Thats almost like my visit to Naples.

I live in Greece. They is so little money in the Government coffers that there are often power cuts and the weeds never get cut. But then again, in this country it is 'unconstituional' to fine anyone for parking, for example. The recycling bins are not getting empited and are overflowing.

But now they are starting to get people for road tax. They are despeate for it, which mean this Government will be out on its ear in the next election. Which is up to them.

When you compare the UK to many other parts of the World, indeed even much of Europe, it makes you realise what a wonderful place it is to live...which makes it even more important that the BNP don't get in and destroy what we have already.

The main problem i have with immigration is the fact that they come over to live in Britain and continue to live as they would in their homeland. E.g Muslims Come here and demand Mosques are built so they can prey, They bend rules such as school uniform, and anyone who tries to make them wear the correct uniform is deemed a racist.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and mine is that.

I see the BNP as the main party which will make Britain a better place IMO, so that i why i vote BNP.

I agree with you Gully. In my book, the BNP should never get into power. Though that does not mean that their views should be complety ignored.

Someone said earlier, i forget who, that the bigger parties need to see the BNP threat and wonder why there are getting more popular and address some of the grevences these poeple hold. Thats not to say every black person needs to move back to where they come form. But there is a real issue of Imagration and the whole things of calling Christmas a winter festival. Those are real issues that some people, myself included are getting a bit pissed of with.
