This is very mainstream but proves that when the French do music well, they do it bloody well

and how I forgot this breakbeat beauty, I really don't know

And this is a big favourite in my household. When I had that spat with Attilla about the music at Withers and I was asked to put some tunes together, my 10 year old wanted this played

and my very last one on this thread (I promise). It's from the Buzzin' Fly series that Ben Watt so expertly puts together. Dark Mountain Group with Lose Control. Guaranteed to fill any dance floor. So many happy memories of this.
Loads of tunes I've never heard before that I've now got down. Bit before my time so only really remember mainstream stuff, which mostly brings back memories of my first girlfriend as it's when i was just getting into dance This tune always evokes happy memories for me:
Much as my head has been seriously turned by all manner of wibbling dubstep over the past 12 months, and whilst there's so much to chose from elsewhere, the two tunes I keep returning to on my ipod when I want to boogie like a bastard are The Fremasons remix of Beyonce' Deja-vu (8 odd minutes of banging house - a gym favourite), and the awesome Hook'n'Sling remix of Sarah Mcleod's He Doesn't Love You.
whilst I love a bit of nostalgia as much as the next man, I can't stand the 'they don't make them like this anymore' lines. Yes they do, and often better. So much good dance music out there.
