Pendant Alert! Not in the last 20 years though- 27 years old to be precise, unless you mean the god awful Quincy Jones produced Blue Monday 88, which is pants.
The Dub fuelled 'Manuela Mix' on the flip of the Hardfloor reissue is qualla though.

ok ok not strictly within the confines of the question, but an awesome choon regardless.btw whats a pendant alert? just being pedantic like y'know!

Another fave band of the day- Eat Static.
I used to go to Club Dog, which had bands and DJ's before it was derigeur, and the bands like Eat Static, basically a 'techno' Ozric Tentacles could react to the audience with the music in a way a DJ couldn't (ie a DJ was restricted to what was on the record) and Eat Static used to just screw with yer head, fantastic times...

Wherever The Mood Takes Me
It's a tough call as there have been some amazing tracks over the past 20 years (although not many in the past 6 or 7 in my opinion). I think THPP has it about right with Baby D, but I also love Adagio For Strings & one from the real old skool "I need your loving" by N-R-G.

Bit older than some of the stuff on here pre BTF post..

You gotta wait for the drop...but when it comes..

[yt]sIpkSwdX44U[/yt]

[yt]5ZrEU86E-H8[/yt]

[yt]xrodpFTO_ME[/yt]

[yt]7sPUpKGI1Z4[/yt]

All good stuff, although I was thinking when BTF posted that, that the stuff I was posting is actually older than people think- mostly 91-92-93, as this is when I was buying and spinning these tunes. People think they are newer because they turned up on Oakenfold compilations and those cd's that were popular when all that 'Fluro' trance shite was about.
Got the 'Song of Life' 12" and Lemon Interrupt (ie Underworld) remixes
And that Packet of Peace remix was awesome...

Like you say Sergei, all classics although I don't remember "Rushing The House". Not from the name anyway.

Interesting that it's mainly late 90s/early2000 trance that most people intsantly think of. This thread needs some old skool, I'm still pissed off that I missed out on proper raves

The original raves were excellent mate. Storm & Passion down The Event were my personal favourites. Had you have been to one of those there's no doubt you would have heard this track.

Oh wasn't aimed at you for sure - more having a pop at the first couple of posts..!
For someone who practically lived in the Zap from late eighties to early nineties, this thread is great -bit easy to get misty eyed about the 'old times' and how it's all 'just repetitive beats nowadays..'
