Skiing holiday booked yet?
It's not actually rained that much down here really though until the other day. Some heavy showers but very little in the way of heavy persistent rain like most of the country has had for seemingly weeks (and over summer it seems which we also escaped most of!). All changing now though for the next little while which should top things up somewhatSouthern Water still running adverts on TalkSport over water ‘shortage’…kind of incredible considering the volume of rain that’s fallen over the last few weeks
Problem often is that sudden deluges overwhelm and therefore much of the water goes out to sea (with the turds) rather than soak nicely into the ground and also fill reservoirs.Southern Water still running adverts on TalkSport over water ‘shortage’…kind of incredible considering the volume of rain that’s fallen over the last few weeks

Yep! I’m impatiently waiting for snow over here! Some of this family including me would love to live in a snowier clime
I moved here to Estonia two and a half years ago. We have nice summers. But I have to say I prefer the snow in winter to the usual rain in England. Today is s bit early to be honest and it won't last. Proper snow should be from late November tight through until late march judging from the last two yearsSome of this family including me would love to live in a snowier clime

Does it slide off solar panels more easily - or are they slightly heated to liquify it. Or do the householders have to do something? My front garden this morning
