Lovely & sunny in Derby with barely a flake in sight, but it sounds like I will have to think about getting home PM in a way that avoids North Sussex and the M23/A23.

M42/M40 Derby to Oxford, A34 to Winchester then the A272 home sounds a snow-free route?

Not from that part of Sussex but heard on radio Sussex last night that there were major problems on the a272 so it may be worth checking.
