Anyone on here is Littlehampton to Chichester, as there are reports elsewhere of up to 1cm of snow there; not a lot of course, but would make a nice photo?

Not wishing to get people's hopes up, but the very latest output seems to suggest the front is progressing south a lot quicker than originally forecast, and Eastwards less quickly.

This also means that the higher dew points may get pushed further West and out into the channel quicker. There are plenty of reports of snow in the midlands and even north Hants at the moment.

Snowing heavily up in Leeds now, temperature feels like it's dropped several degrees over the course of the morning, snow starting to settle on wet ground in places.

does that mean we'll get rain (as forecast) or will it fall as snow?

Straight down the middle of the country then ? So over Dorset and Hampshire i assume.

Would we then be getting rain or nothing and of course, would it mean milder temperatures ?

And all the snow has already melted here.

The discussions online seem to be hinting that this would limit the influence of the milder air over our area. We'll see once the precipitation reaches us.

This Met Office site shows a number of weather stations reporting temps 0.8-1.4C along the coastal strip, but Dew Point temps are rising as well.

Rain in Worthing has washed the snow away. Is there a sadder sight than that. :(
