The whole bail didn't appear to have been removed from the stump. The angle you would have seen would have shown the stump breaking and the bails partially removed. The umpire looked at all the other angles and couldn't be 100% sure on that. That said, one of the angles was deceptive. Best look at the footage yourself rather than me explain it.From the massive screen next to me it looked out. Not sure why we could see it and 3rd umpire couldn't
I had no problem with the decision as made. It's only later with further forensics we see the front on angle was deceptive and it probably was out. But the umpire can't sit there for half an hour and reach that judgement. It's one of those variables we have to live with.
They should have those zing bails.
