Its June to June so sky money would make it no better!!

Possibly extra sponsorship deals agreed in June, in that case it would have been a loss then, then a profit the year after.

At least we are already on the way to reducing it, less transfer expenditure and incoming fees totalling around £5M will have an impact.

I would like to see the detailed accounts. I heavily suspect that they have made this look at bad as possible with a lot of write offs going through.

Expect big bounce back next year......

A crazy suggestion.

(We're well on track to be within the £8m max loss for 2013-14.)

The people crying out for greater investment during the transfer window and suggesting the club isn't showing enough ambition are notable by their absence on this thread...

I said all along that this would happen. Simply front loading, and packing in, to make sure when it matters we are back on track. Will help scare supporters a bit, and get them spending more.

When a club with our infrastructure and income posts losses like that is shows how messed up football has become. Sadly there does not seem to be any indication of this changing. How on earth are clubs going to turn around these losses and comply with FFP.

Football is out of control

Anyone still believe we don't pay big wages??? It was all about getting up last season, we through the kitchen sink at it.... Now it's all about either getting up asap, or not going down and cutting back on wages/big transfers.....Looks like we are going for the second option atm, which is fair enough as long as everyone else sticks to FFP....Which they won't of course.

Do these losses include investment in ground expansion/the new training ground?

I'm really interested as to how this could have happened? It has to be training ground costs right?

Puts the transfer window dealings into perspective, admittedly.

This doesnt include January activity does it, so slightly better with the sale ofl Bridcutt

These are the figures for the previous year, 2012-2013 so Bridcuts sale won't be in there, but Bridges wages will be. Also, is the training ground paid for out of a separate fund, not affected by FFP, as it is classed as infrastructure?

It's pretty hypocritical to laugh given our history but this is obviously a huge warning to the rest of the division, thank God we got out of it last year.

Yes it would be hypocritical for you to laugh given your history. Personally you have no right to be in the prem owing to the fact you have been in admin twice. The last being only a few seasons ago. Yes you had 10 points deducted but I feel you should have been relegated to league 2. If the football league had any balls you would have . It's a bloody disgrace that you find yourselves in the premier league. It seems that cheats do prosper.

Everyone knows its best to make a loss rather than a profit. What's that saying? If you owe the bank £50 then it's your problem. If you owe the bank £50m then it's their problem :)

As long as turnover is on the increase we're ok in the short-term.

Still, it's a bumper loss. Biggest signing of the season.
