Are you serious?

It was dreadful.

The Democratic Party has a LOT to answer for.
Tbh aside from me and a couple of others who have criticised kamalas campaign the whole way (constructively). Most on here were praising her right up until the results were coming in. Hindsight a a wonderful thing.

I actually agree.

A bit like how you should get behind all the players in your football team and not single ones out and slag them off at almost every opportunity.

Oh...
TBF though I don't call people on here idiots if they have a different view to me about a player !

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but the search for a new dems leader should have begun after the mid-term success. Instead yet again we had hubris from a leader that thought he was good for 2 terms

Seeing what they wanted to see rather than reality.

Democrats can only blame themselves they had a senile old perv that would get lost on the stage and an unpopular fake in Kamala who proceeded to laugh like a manic donkey throughout her campaign. A normal democrat would’ve won.
I don't think they would've.

What do you hope to personally gain from Trump's victory?

Why - what does Dingo gain?
Sadly it is a gain for nationalist right wing populists everywhere. The gain here is emboldening Reform, making the Conservatives feel they need to drift even further right.

If you're of this political persuasion, and we know a few NSCer's are, then it is a big victory even if it is the other side of the pond.

Yep and it mirrors the rhetoric on here. Anyone daring to show any support for the republicans shot down as an idiot, lambasted. The real idiots are the arrogant people who keep up this line of debate.
100% correct. There is no way that the Trump who has presented himself during the campaign is anywhere near as bad as the hideous villain that has been presented by the majority of the western media or on this forum, and again people looking at a country a long way away think they know whats better for the common man there than they do themselves.
