Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Ah - I see. An increasing proportion of the population overall may/will be in Democrat areas. Isn't that actually democracy though? More numbers = more votes? Is the fact that people prefer to live in solid Democrat areas rather than solid Republican areas the main reason behind the increase in population in those areas? And I guess there will be reasons that people prefer to go to those areas?

How is this troll still reeling you all in?

Put it on ignore and it will die from lack of attention oxygen.
I've often thought what we need, in addition to ignore a specific poster and ignore a specific thread, is the ability to ignore a specific poster only in a specific thread.

Although, I guess maybe the answer to that is to just not feed the troll.

Yeah, there are a number of posters that make interesting contributions on football threads, but are simply trolls on political threads. I’d rather not completely ignore them, but I’d never respond to them.

Can you tell everyone where abouts a different opinion hurt you? Wouldn't it be nice if you could just post your opinion and everyone quoted it and agreed with it eh?
I've put 11 trolls on ignore for mainly being abusive or trolling like you are so it doesn't work.

Interesting. I hadn't heard the term before, so looked it up.

"Sanctuary cities exist from coast to coast and promote the ideals of human rights, separation of local and federal law, and empowerment of communities to grow with the help of immigrants. Cities that pursue sanctuary city policies do so for various reasons, all of which relate on some level to human rights and community growth." "The history of sanctuary cities, however, focuses on the term sanctuary – or safe place. "

"The evidence shows that undocumented immigrants do not pose significant threats to communities, and they in fact positively impact them.

Sanctuary cities report positive outcomes, including the following:

  • Sanctuary cities have lower than average crime rates
  • Household incomes are higher in sanctuary cities
  • The poverty rate in sanctuary cities is lower on average than cities without these policies"
Sounds quite good to me - promoting human rights, empowerment of communities and community growth.

Indeed, it would seem as though my initial hypothesis was right - people choose to go there because they are treated well and with dignity, experience lower crime rates, higher incomes and so on.

I guess you are saying that there therefore a contrast between Democratic areas treating people well and with dignity, and Republican areas?

Aren't you all immigrants in America? The Native American population is only about 3% of the electorate.

They prefer the Democrats too
I dont think CD lives there, he just likes to adore Trump and spread misinformation from afar.

Or change its username back to Tyrone Biggums?
Is that really who it is? I put Smallums on ignore 10 years ago. Dingbat lasted till early this year.

I though Smallums lived in a Christian knife sect in Australia, while Dingbat lived in the Brewery Shades.

Just copy and paste the quote and you will probably find it.

I haven't heard of sanctuary cities but from Bodians description I like the sound of them.

In the interest of balance could you post a link to your understanding of them?
