What do all you socialists think about the mega rich Tony Bloom?
Good luck to the fella and please make sure you pay your taxes.

He pays his taxes, and provides for Brighton & Hove especially in the region of sport.

Socialism isn’t communism. Socialism doesn’t mean people can’t be rich, but it does mean that poor people shouldn’t suffer because they are poor.

He’s making the point in response to my earlier post, that postal voting produces large scale fraud that impacts on election results (which is false!)

I agree about the middle man but at the moment housebound people or those in hospital, the army or on holiday have no choice but to use postal ballots. Obviously electronic voting would be easier but there are major security concerns with potential cyber attacks or foreign state interference even …

Besides postal votes, those you mention can opt for proxy votes. Have someone you trust, ie. a spouse, family member who will vote for you.

That's not really true. In a socialist society, people wouldn't be able to profit the way Bloom does.

Obviously some septics might think of Brits as socialists, but they're brainwashed idiots.

Eh? What is your definition of socialism?

I can't think of any definition which doesn't include the ownership of businesses being shared among the community. Bloom owns businesses and profits from them in part thanks to the people who work for them. That's capitalism, and quite the opposite of socialism.

The reason your kids are suffering is due to the ‘trickle down economics’ put in place by that well known Democratic sorry Republican Ronald Reagan. Who single handily gave the American rich the chance to get richer at the expense of everyone else. To justify the obscene levels of wealth, the super rich claim anything that looks to reduce their wealth and improve the lot of the poor is an act of Socialism…. And you mugs fall for it.
its not socialism and never was, you lot are just so indoctrinated that they can do what they want.
Such an overrated President, its where their problems really started along with deregulation on masse

So very true and absolutely rife in this day and age of easy internet name calling. Says so much about the people that chuck phrases and names around without having the first idea of the meaning. Sadly obvious cut n paste trolls.
Fascist!

I always worry about people who put spaces before commas. Bushy used to do that. I'm wondering whether it might be pathognomonic ???

He's got an apostrophe in there correctly this time at least. Signs of learning.
At this rate he might have mastered simple hand tools by the time the Sun runs out of fuel and expands to consume Mercury and Venus.
