In this country, MPs get hounded out of office if they have an affair.

In the US you can pay off a porn star, get found liable in sexual abuse charges and encourage a riot because you lost and election......and then win.

The only hope is that they aren't caught in a very cult like web and can see in four years time he has done nothing for them, again, and to vote for change.
In four years time, I can all but guarantee, if Trump hasn't done a single thing to improve the lives of the people who voted for him, it won't be his fault. It won't be the Republicans fault.

It never is.

Despite them having control of basically every branch of Government.

It'll be immigrants. Or the Dems. Or the Woke Mind Virus.

But it won't be Trumps fault.

This didn't really happen for Boris did it?

Morality hasn't been important in politics for a while.

100% this.

I have many American friends who live in rural America, and this is precisely why so many vote for Trump. Not because they are racist, or bigots or anything like that, but because they believe in what he says. These people feel left behind, feel ignored by big city America, struggle to afford groceries, petrol etc. Trump taps into this, and gives them hope that things will be better.

As for Harris, not only does she suffer from the Biden effect, but no one actually knows what her policies would have been. I always get suspicious when candidates reel off one celebrity after another - oh look, another mega rich Joe telling me how to vote. She struck me as all talk, no action, whereas Trump may have batshit crazy policies, but unlike most other politicians, he actually delivers on them. People forgive a lot i they have more money in their pocket after all....
No one knows what her policies would have been?? Are you on a wind up or just incredibly lazy?

A quick google and you can see differences side by side. Drill a tiny bit deeper and you can see how many more she has and with extra substance.

Harris is the one consistently talking about them, you just have to choose to listen.

Don't forget the issues in California at the moment as well. Woke dem DAs got in like Gascon and allowed crime to be rampant. Career criminals let out of jail early. Shop security guards not allowed to touch shoplifters, meaning the farcical situation where thieves just ransack stores without anyone doing anything. The police won't come along as they were defunded during the BLM movement. Violent criminals released who then went on to harm and kill more people.

An absolute mess. Has anyone been to downtown San Fran recently ? Most shops shut, ghostown. I was wary walking around Beverly hills last year, needles everywhere and I got followed by a hobo on his bike !!

You see all this hype on social media about London being unsafe but LA and San Fran feel and are a hell of a lot worse.

Beat me to it, Just back from that part of the World, San Fran has always had a bit of an issue with homelessness and druggies, but it is out of control now.

Saw some youths walk into a CVS pick a load of stuff up and walk out, no one battered an eyelid

Ive no idea for the reasons, but you can see why people are annoyed with how the state/country is run if this is common

Personally, now that he has got them in he has little more use for the puppetmasters. It would be no surprise that in 6-8months time there will be a successful assassination and Vance takes over. Feeling paranoid this morning
That could easily be a plot.

Use Trump to unlock the door for Vance. Then 'dump trump'. Job done.

I am not really blaming the elector It is time for him to step up and make good on his promises as far as I am concerned.

Sacking civil servants and replacing with political supporters
Tariffs
Largest Deportation in American history
Death penalty for drug dealers
Withdrawing from NATO
Imposing time limits for Congress members
Nationalizing energy and other strategic industries
Maximizing use of American fossil fuels
Finishing the wall and adding technology advances to it
Ending the Russia-Ukraine war in 24 hours

Well I'm sure many will support all of these regardless of the obvious pitfalls

Yep. The current information system will support all of that.
