GPD & Employment - things carried on in almost exactly the same trend as previously.

How did Trump 'make things better'? He didn't - he just 'didn't make them worse'. Exceeding Obama's prediction isn't 'making things better' - it's just doing a bit better than your opponent thought you would.

Since Trump left in 2020, I see GDP has shot up at a greater rate than pre-covid Trump era, and employment resumed it's steady growth and unemployment back down to pre-covid levels.. How do you explain that if Biden/Harris are so bad on the economy that she cannot be voted in as President?

If you didnt realise just how deceitful and duplicitous Elon Musk is, with his social engineering and lies to get Trump elected, you may just now. (archive.ph link as orignal paywalled)

The level that Musk is going to try and get Trump elected is truly staggering.

Musk recently came out in full on endorsement for Trump and donated $75 million to his campaign fund and also pledged $45m per month to his SuperPAC which is offering cash rewards to people who could find Trump voters. Musk’s SuperPAC (where he is the only donor) is literally buying potential voters in swing States.

The only counter to his influence is that he is making no effort to hide his affiliation with Trump and has stood side by side with him on the campaign trail - many voters will treat Musk’s PAC ads with distrust as they know Musk (and tend not to trust political ads any way) or he will be preaching to the converted.

He's the theory.

It's no secret that Vance is Musks man along with other billionaires like Peter Thiel. He's on the ticket because of their endorsing him.

They already have a deal with Trump where he gets immunity and a big fat payoff and he either stands down, or they can force him out on medical/competency grounds, then effectively take over through their puppet Vance?

I can fully understand the reasons people hate Donald Trump, but I will never fully understand the adoration of Kamala Harris. Why can’t she answer a simple question?

You ask that question as if to suggest Trump can. It's hardly one of his attributes, even less so than Harris

What adoration? I haven't seen any on here.

I described her as a bowl of spaghetti bolognese to Trump's bowl of shit. From what I see she is a pretty average politician if this seems like adoration then it is probably because of the (apparently understandable*) low regard in which I hold Trump, as a politician and human being.

*Less understandable is how you can understand this and still vote for him.

The premise is nonsense. She's been doing lots of interviews. Including handing Bret Baier his ass yesterday. She answers questions just fine. Using complete sentences too. And won't let a hack like Baier bait her.

Your contributions to this thread are pathetic. Really, truely woeful.
Show us a single post from someone on here who 'adores' Harris.

I'm not a massive Harris fan, I'm not sure many are on here, but she's infinitely better at answering questions, and infinitely more honest (albeit politician level honest), than the horrendous excuse of a human being Trump. I've watched a lot of interviews with Kamala where she's answered a lot of the questions very well to be honest. That article's just bullshit

I started to read the article but it seems to be lacking in anything like examples of what it is suggesting. Just a hack opinion piece that lacks objectiveiy from what I can see.

This sentence did amuse me though.
The presidential candidate has an uncanny ability to respond to straightforward questions in circuitous, mind-bending arrays of irrelevant non sequiturs.

Without any hint of irony too.

That whole article is just an attack on Harris with no inkling of independence. I made it most of the way through, but gave up because it offered nothing. Politicians in general try to avoid directly answering questions to prevent the media just reporting snippets of answers that suit the outlets agenda. Trump doesn't even dance around a question, he just completely ignores them and talks about something else entirely.

Did you watch the Fox Brett Baier interview/inquisition.

She did great, unscripted no teleprompter, in what was a well planned attempt at a Trump PR, Harris hatchet job.

She just went into the lions den on the Trump propaganda channel.

You think Trumps softball fox interviews where they big him up and let him ramble out his incoherent "weave" word salads is good in comparison?

He bottled 60 minutes, he's bottled debate 2 and where is he on MSNBC or CNN?

And I'm not so personally a Harris supporter, but centrist so somewhere between moderate democrat or republican against Trump.

The biggest issue is democracy remaining and the constitution and for that there is only one possible candidate.

A Trump loss would be the best thing for US democracy, global stability, NATO allies and the Republican party who have been hijacked by this cult.

Is Harris 'adored' by many? My observation is that she is celebrated as a serious and realistic candidate for the role, unlike the frivolously pathetic performance of the opposition. Strongly analogous to Starmer vs. the Tories.

I am a strong anti-trumper as you know but just I can't warm to Harris at all. I knew nothing about her when she became elevated to candidate, and was initially excited. But it turns out the more I see of her the more she reminds me of some of the more irritating people I deal with in my workspace.

People who don't respond in timely manner to emails. People who initiate correspondence that is 90% 'background' and 10% 'action request' with the latter written in an ambiguous manner. And follow up questions are answered by reference to previous ambiguous correspondence or hyperlinks to committee policy statements. "But what do you want me to do" I say. Then it turns out the email doesn't apply to me and I was supposed to have realized that all by myself.

Perhaps I'm being unfair. But I didn't get where I am today by being fair.
