I'm about 70% convinced that this is some Avant-garde performance art that we're just not getting.Screw it. I like him now. He's SO funny. I think he's just having fun isn't he? We've all fallen for it.
It's what he wants.I'm sure all his comments will have gone down well with the judge, who I'm sure will now lean towards leniency with DJT.
When Trump first said this I thought, that's rich, coming from someone who can barely string one sentence together, preferring instead to speak in tangents. He's just accused Biden of not being able to string two sentences together...
That is my impression too - he constantly violated his gag order in that speech - he wants a prison sentence imo ( maybe for contempt even for 48hrs) because that would spark a real breakdown in civil order - he‘s clearly politicising his own criminal conduct. It's what he wants.
Either a harsh punishment and he can say they are out to get him or it's overturned on appeal and again, he can say they are out to get him.
He’s tempting the judge to jail him which would reinforce the ‘victim of a witch hunt’ mentality.Does anyone not know why people gob off about their judges in the UK?
It is called contempt. Anyone brainless to do during a press conference outside the court running the judge down would be man handled back in and ordered to think it over in a cell overnight.
He really needs 'sedating' for his own good.
It only works if he actually ends up in jail. This won’t happen as he couldn’t handle a single hour in the clink. He’s tempting the judge to jail him which would reinforce the ‘victim of a witch hunt’ mentality.
Are you saying this is a good thing / bad thing?
Whilst he is on bail, he has to report to Probation who will prepare a sentencing report for the judge. That should include a medical report, physical and mental.Would he have to have some sort of mental health assessment if the judge was seriously considering jail time?
