Did we nick that from somewhere or just invent it?

For those that never saw it yesterday, involves about half a dozen Albion players forming an orderly queue in front of goal before the kick gets taken. Looks pretty hard to defend against, has to be said. Or at least harder than the traditional MELEE

Would be harder to defend if we had someone who could take a decent corner or free kick

If they are doing that they may as well rugby lift Dunk to reach the header. Is it illegal to assist the jump of your own team player?

No you can't, while there is not a direct rule that covers this, it has by convention been deemed as unsporting behaviour and against the spirit of the game. Indirect free kick and caution for players involved if ref applies letter of the rules...

I first saw it done by the Japanese womens team some years ago at the WC. I'm pretty sure they did it with alot more players than we did.
