I’d imagine any banner of size brought into the ground would require the express consent of the club before it being allowed.

Don’t know how you bring in something that size undetected

It would be terrible publicity for the club (BHA) if it didn't allow that banner. Personally I would love that to be shown behind the goal in the North. Their regime is terrible and we should do all we can to remove its influence on us. Successive govts have all turned a blind eye to its barbarity whilst accepting the $$$.

That’s Dave Ling, the world renown Rock journalist, who is a massive Palace fan.
Well done HF, they do get some stick, but they were bang on the money with this.

Hopefully this gets big publicity, and the message gets repeated .

There not wrong are they , Saudi Arabia is horrendous on civil rights . I’m always amazed anyone holidays in even places like Dubai given it’s views on gay people and unmarried couples having sex and various prescription medicines we have here that can land you in jail in Dubai. Who wants to holiday in that type of environment when there’s lots of other nicer places to go .

Upmost respect. Let's put the rivalry aside for a minute and applaude for this fantastic banner and the spot on statement.

Presuming we cant get that banner and in any case, the club wont allow that banner, surely the next step would be a banner in support of that banner.

Nice one.

Although, I am convinced someone else produced that for the HFs.

My money is on the Spiv himself. I believe he paid for, provided and planted this banner. I would think he is more worried about the league having a ‘big 7’ instead of a ‘big 6’ and Palace being thrust further down pile than any moral outrage though.

Looking forward to the next banner that the Premier League’s new self appointed moral guardians are going to unveil. Will it be against Chelsea around how Abramovich acquired the state assets and made his billions or will they protest against Man City’s owners who are accused by amnesty international of trying to “sportswash” their country’s “deeply tarnished image”?

Of course not, because Chelsea and Man City are not relegation rivals for Palace.

Nice one.

Although, I am convinced someone else produced that for the HFs. Unlike a lot of people on here I don't begrudge them trying to create the 'ultra' style experience. Fair play to them. But what always gets me is how BADLY they do things. Shocking art, cheap looking, terrible fonts. ( https://louieblogdotcom.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/fortress.jpg ) That banner actually looked reasonable, along with the right message.

They did do it themselves and a senior steward tried, unsuccessfully, to get them to lower it when they raised it.
I’ve been Reading this morning that “ the holmesdale fanatics have claimed responsibility “ they must have let a smoke bomb off or something
You’d think the police would have more important things to do than investigate this

Sussex but not by the sea
Will our match be the first Saudi Utd away match that is on live TV?
If we can’t get a banner in then constant booing whenever they get the ball through the entire match is the next best thing. The atmosphere is going be very good hopefully. ‘Get into them…..’

So how much nicer is it watching football again chaps? You’ve done the right thing for sure and taken the risk. I genuinely say fair play for doing it as it’s so much better to watch than Roy’s defensive approach eh…

What a pile of :shit:

Palace fans are the worst sort of hypocrites.

This banner was produced by the Spiv because you’ve got more chance of being relegated now that Newcastle are in the ‘big 7’.

That’s what this is all about and you know it.

Great banner, should be on show every Newcastle away game

The Always Ultras should contact the fans of the next team to play Newcastle and send it on to them, and so on all season long.

Stop derailing the thread please.
You don’t want to get bozza in trouble by accusing mr parish of being behind the banner , especially as there’s a police investigation going on. That’s right boss man eh ?

Brilliant work by the Nigels

Instead of ‘looking into’ the banner, maybe the police should look into Newcastle’s new dodgy owners

What happened to freedom of speech?

If anyone thinks that this sort of scum pond life gives a shit about human rights in Saudi Arabia, you need to give your head a serious wobble.

100% this , this has nothing to do with us and you, it’s bringing home the point that nearly all decent fans agree of how awful that regime is and the Premier leagues lies (ie rainbow laces , women’s football , etc ) and contradictions. The only thing that matters to them is money.

If you don’t like it fair enough, but just remember how lucky we are to be able to show a banner like this .

Police investigate it is ironic, nothing racist in its intention at all.

We should all agree on this and appreciate how decent our respective owners are.
